Actually type-90 is designed to counter Soviet armor, but do to soviet falls, military get budget cuts and then type-90 is produced slowly, same as type-10, it's designed to "accompany" type-90, which mean it also have slower production.
Ah, the Type-90 and the Type-10. Destroying medieval armies, land dragons, a Demon Lord, and currently flexing its superiority against a WW2-level country that wants to assert its dominance in the New World
Why is the driver on the left of the type 90 and type 10? All the other Japanese AFVs have the driver seated on the right of the vehicle including the type 74 tank. It seems even more unusual considering they drive on the left side of the road in Japan.
@@PanzerPicture Thanks for replying, could be the case yeah although I thought Japan's constitution prevented foreign arms sales? Maybe I am mistaken though.

Interesting video on a tank you don't see much about.
@daAnder71 that totally has nothing to do with me liking this video so piss off.
The type90 is my favourite tank
Basically the type 74 f is the workhorse, the type 90 is a stepgap solution and the type 10 is what japan needed decades now.

Do you think type 10 is smaller than type 90 ?
Not really, only the turret is a bit lower.
The Type 10 barrel is not made of line metal, but a domestic barrel.

Maybe because it's some of the modern designs and they have the hope of selling them overseas?

@@conordevery2306 the Japanese are indeed not allowed to sell to foreign countries but maybe they're trying to change that in the future.
