In theory the port would be better to emulating the PSX disc since emulation is supposed to give you typical emulation overhead and stuff but a port should acomodate the game to the hardware it's being ported to, right? I was expecting more in a comparison but it seems comparisons will always be about how different the graphics look like and nothing else.

You all know every ps3 can play ps1 games, right? They automatically upscale to graphics and they even give you the option to have smoothing. That's what intrigued me, I was able to play Crash Bash without a Ps1.
