I have learned so much from you over the years. Watching all of your videos have really been a blessing as well as watching how much you’ve grown. Peace and blessings to you and yours…
I learnt Inkscape from you. This opening music bring those memories back when i never knew how to use the brazier tool and draw all over the art board. Thank you so much for your great videos.
Nice. I'm learning more than just the Inkscape usage, but also good English pronunciation + clearness in the exposition of a topic + design. Good job as always, Nick.
Nick you are such an awesome teacher you make things so clear and easy to follow your master class was the very best thing I have ever joined!! I tell everyone with a new cricket about inkscape and your course.I have created so many things thanks to your classes. THANKS for sharing your knowledge!!
If it wasn't for you, I would have never known how to create the graphics that I have needed over this past 12 months. I love your simple videos and the fact that you explain as you go for us noobs lol. Thank you Nick, keep up the great work
What you post here has been very helpful! Just bought your master class series and went for the upgraded bundle. Can't wait to dig in and walk through them all!
*Hidden Friend* - 2022.07.01 How good it is to see and hear your lectures again, my dear teacher, and always with a very important theme! Thank you very much once again!
Thanks for the tip Nick. I was actually missing your tutorials. It's been a month since your last video. Hope everything is OK. Don't stop making these videos.
That is nice! I suppose a regular polygon would be a good start is you want to repeat something any desired number of times. Thanks for a wonderful tip. I'd never have guessed this.
Interesting tutorial. I've been using the 1.2 version since it was released on the official website, but I hadn't seen that option . Thank you so much.
great tuts I must say with very interesting content so my only question is how do I change the colour of the stars now they're all in this lovely circle cos Ive followed the steps you gave it all worked really well but now Ive changed my mind about the colour of my stars
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have learned so much from you. I have a question. Can these markers be converted to paths like a stroke can be converted to a path? Thank you!!!
Hi there, thanks for the tutorial, very informative, however when you add more nodes to the circle, there is not an easy way (or at least not that i was able to find it) to custom space your nodes, for example having 7 nodes evenly distributed, yes, we might achieve that with a polygon, the second thing i have experienced, is that (perhaps i just don't know how to do it) once we have our pattern repeated, there are limited options to customise each repeated pattern. you have shown how to resize, but it would be cool to be able to change each separated object/marker, but again, i have just started and surely there is something i am missing, It would be cool to have a tutorial on this if possible at all.
Hi Nick, super helpful as always! Coming from Illustrator, I noticed I can't randomly change the position, size and rotation of multiple copies. Maybe that's a new feature yet to be added to Inkscape.
Question: Is there a way to copy and paste what you did in this video to multiple paths? or do I have to use this marker setting for every path separately?
I love these tutorials, instead of learning what is selection, bezier, etc, I watched these videos and learned much things. Those tutorials (Path function, Bezier pen, etc) videos are also helpful for the detail tho, but this kind of tutorial is more effective for me. Big thanks for Nick. By the way, my office told me to use illustrator and Photoshop, so.. anyone know the channel that use same teaching method as Nick? That would help me a lot.
A very useful lesson as always. I wonder how I can taper a path with a pattern or marker on it, that follows the tapering. I tried with marker and pattern along path effect but failed. Let's say I wanna have dots on a 3/4 circle, the dots start small then end in a bigger size. Do you have any idea how to do that in Inkscape? Thanks, Nick.
very intresting, i thing the polygon tool allow more cutom nodes like 3 5 7 or any amount of node we want can we apply these effect on a non path converted object like basic circle ? and in this case of closed loop put two markers at begining and at end is not useful a maybe overload inkscape
So helpful! Thanks for this tutorial. I have a question, though: another issue with put object/text on path is that the elements are put perpendicular to the tangent on the path- so a wave-shaped text block has the tops tilted in a variety of directions. Is there a way to establish the same 'vertical' orientation for all objects in one or the other of these approaches? Photoshop, which I can't afford, has presets for lots of kinds of text box deformations that keep the orientation of the letters vertical. I would think that Inkscape, as an actual vector program, would have some way to achieve the same result.
Hay dude! I'm a great follower from past 3 years...love ur videos ❤️.. . . One small request i have...can u tell how to make animation with the use of inkscape? ❤️
Hi Nick I'm new to your channel, I recently started using inskscape, you do very good content thank you very much, I have a question, is it possible to make a .PNG image can be repeated on a curved line? I know that with tracing effects there is an option to do this, but it only works with vector objects, I would like to do it with png images, I hope you can help me with this question, greetings!
Nick or anyone else - please help! I tried this. Works great thank you. You are a great teacher and I bought your class. Recommend it to everyone. My problem is I am trying to use Inkscape to draw and then import them into my CAD software (Carveco) so I can cut them on my CNC machine. Not matter what format I save these in, it doesn't work. Anything like .png, etc... leaves me with very jagged bitmap imports, and when I try to import the .svg file all i get is the original circle and the original star. Nothing else. Is there some way to save this as vectors? Thanks for anyone who can help! Mark.
I do exactly you told . But still my small object (your is star) when I go on marker in fill Strok manu, I click first point marker than my small object is big as Round ( your big object). Please help me. Give me solution. So your start is small and proper in round path. But mine one is big as round . How it is possible
no go here, I couldn't get this to work. the circle kept disappearing and even after changing star to marker, every time I tried to apply it, the circle 1-disappeared completely no arrows to say where it was and 2- the star came in Gigantic and filled the screen
You can keep the stroke on while doing this and set it to transparent later. There's also two boxes with numbers where you pick the marker to resize it.

This channel is simply fantastic!
Markers always annoyed me until this video. Holy cow, I've learned from your videos once again. I never knew markers could be used this way. So good!
I've never liked using Markers in Inkscape until the 1.2 update. Now it's a game changer.
This is absolutely brilliant and helps me a lot. Thank you so much!
master class gard right here! Thanks Nick!
Ohh lord, I was looking for that exactly! Thanks a lot, Nick
As always top tier!!! You're just awesome for sharing all this knowledge

Great video as always Nike

Hello Nick we need a complete review of the new version of Inkscape CMYK for ex. Please
Amazing. Many thanks.

Glad to hear you like the content. I actually have another channel for Adobe tutorials called "Design Made Simple" if you want to check that out.
@@LogosByNick I was looking for a channel with similar method and I got your channel instead, looking for coal and got gold huh.. BIG THANKS!!

Nice tutorial, please explain can inscape at the time support CMYK colors?
Unfortunately no it can't
Avoid CMYK. Leave it to the process-colour experts.
Are you going to update for version 1.2

Try path effect called envelop deformation.
Yes, the Perspective/Envelope path effect would be good for this.
@@LogosByNick Thank you! Do you have a tutorial on this?
It's my dream to become master of Inkscap like you Dear Sir🎉

Hey nick, plz upload new videos on regular basis.
so I can't edit it in inkscape 0.92?
The other inkscape version's laggy, which means I'd had to not use inkscape anymore
Can I have, say, 12 nodes on a circle? That would be great for creating clocks.
