I still strongly believe that in the Nolanverse (and possibly in nearly the entire Batman-Franchise) Jim Gordon simply DOESN NOT want to know who Batman really is, as it would rob the figure "Batman" of all its symbolism - also in an inspirational manner for the GCPD and Jim Gordon himself. So Jim Gordon also locked this idea away, until he was ultimately confronted with it, by Batman / Bruce Wayne himself.

One of my all-time favorite scenes in any movie is the scene in Batman Begins with Bruce Wayne and the bats in the cave. I just kept re-watching it. The power of realizing your potential; the power of realizing the only thing holding you back is your own fears. Thank you Ambient Worlds for recreating that feeling and sharing it here where it is so easily accessible❣️👏🏻🎁
For me it would be the "silent" moments where Bruce Wayne reflects on his father, Thomas Wayne, remembering the beautiful times they had together, wondering if he would ever live up to his legacy.
“You know how many times I’ve heard that? “Rest In Peace Batman!” “There’s no escape Batman!” “Time to die Batman!” Every night. Over, and Over, and Over for so many years. “This is the end Batman!” Every damn night, and yet... I’m still here.” -Batman

Rudraksh Tiwari Lmao no, it isn’t. Mumbai isn’t developed at all. Plus, the architecture in Mumbai is horrible. New York has ghotic and modern architecture all over. That’s why New York was called Gotham City in the 1800s.
For me it's the dark knight, I can watch it again and again and again it still be amazing and the goosebumps will hit every time.. The movie is so perfect in every aspect... The acting... The atmosphere... AND THE FUCKN MUSIC.... Is sooo on point I love everything, the Lao plot, the Harvey Rachel plot.... And the Joker who is just perfect a "not" crazy guy that stands for chaos and the realistic Gotham city makes it a 10/10
during 2018 i lost my mum to alcoholism cause she could not get the substance out of her life. since the day she was taken from me i have not been the same...like ever, i feel kind of like Jason Todd, even if that sounds a bit cliché or stupid. life has it's way of spitting on our faces, and there is nothing we can do to stop this pain from happening to anyone. my pain has made me jaded and there's nothing i can do about that. i loved my mum more than anyone and fate robbed me of peace and serenity with her. i understand Todd's anger more than ever in these times, alone...not trapped in an asylum. but in a world where i cannot trust or get close to anyone
This music is amazing. I love that you added the rain to it to actually make it feel like the Dark Knight environment. Love it so so so much! "It's not who we are underneath, but what we do, that defines us." You, my friend, are a hero. Thanks!
I honestly don’t know why but this makes me feel sad and to cry. As if Batman has failed and he’s in mourning or something. Hope I’m not the only one who feels like this
Batman has failed many, many, many times over the years. It's part of what makes him my favorite hero, because even when he fails, he gets back up. And tries again.
i mean...Gotham is literally a corrupt and crime-ridden city where people die every day. The LOTR world is in the middle of race wars and imperialist conquests. The Harry Potter world is under attack by wizard Hitler. None of them are really better than the real world my dude.
Lo 羅Justin 俊哲 id much rather be fighting injustice and stopping crime or battling against an army of orcs and other worldly elements, or even conjuring spells and flying around on a broomstick. there are corrupt cities where people die every day, but no hero to save them. race wars have been going on since the dawn of time, and tell me if Kim Jong Un doesnt give off major Voldemort vibes. to escape from this real world is a dream that many people like myself and the other guy who commented can only hope comes true.
ive been through some rough shit these past years. mental health, self harm, suicidal thoughts, but batman was always an escapism for me. just listing to the music imagining i’m oh a high rooftop looking over gotham, nothing there to distract me or to take my mind away. i appreciate this so much as this is my escapism. thank you so much dude
"A hero can be anyone, even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat on a young boy's shoulders to let him know that the world hadn't ended.” Bruce telling Gordon not only who he is, but that Gordon is his hero broke me and still does to this day when I watch the series.
You'll hunt me. You'll condemn me, set the dogs on me. Because sometimes the truth isn't good enough... sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded.
For any of you who struggle, remember, you're not alone. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone can change everything. It's what you do what defines you. You're us. You're him. The dark knight.
If you make yourself more than just a Man, If devote yourself to an ideal and if they cant stop you, Then you become something else entirely. A Legend, Mr Wayne.
What you did with the beginning of Macrotus is such a beautiful tune. So soothing, so powerful, so fitting for Gotham/Batman. Can just picture Batman on a rooftop overlooking his city in the rainfall with his cape blowing in the wind. Truly a work of art.

But even still...he had to do something. Even if it meant he had to do it alone. “...as putting a coat around a little boy’s shoulders...” Gordon walked into the office, seeing the shellshocked child sitting in the corner. To him, his whole world had shattered, but he didn’t show a single bit of emotion. Gordon walked across the way, placing a coat over the boy’s shoulders.
Batman (2016) #20

"And yet... I'm still here" - Trump
Ayyy comic readers! I understood that reference
Also, does anyone have a Batman reading order/recommended reading please
Rest in peace Kevin. You are vengeance, you are the knight. You are forever batman.
Tell me Bruce
Why do we fall ?
This moment in the movie still give me chills.
I'm in Mumbai, it's raining outside; the city reminds me of Gotham in the rains...luckily i stumbled upon this beautiful track... thank you for this 🙌🏻👏🏻
Gotham? More like Arkham
Gotham is either New York or Chicago
Rudraksh Tiwari Lmao no, it isn’t. Mumbai isn’t developed at all. Plus, the architecture in Mumbai is horrible. New York has ghotic and modern architecture all over. That’s why New York was called Gotham City in the 1800s.
Batman begins will forever be my favourite batman movie.
And the Joker who is just perfect a "not" crazy guy that stands for chaos and the realistic Gotham city makes it a 10/10
Begins with Fear
Falls into chaos
Rises from the pain
"If you want to truly fight evil, you must first make the devil himself afraid."
what a heroic and remarkable quote
*Make yourself more than just a Man*
Thank you, Kevin, for everything...
Not the track I deserve, but the one I need.
during 2018 i lost my mum to alcoholism cause she could not get the substance out of her life. since the day she was taken from me i have not been the same...like ever, i feel kind of like Jason Todd, even if that sounds a bit cliché or stupid. life has it's way of spitting on our faces, and there is nothing we can do to stop this pain from happening to anyone. my pain has made me jaded and there's nothing i can do about that. i loved my mum more than anyone and fate robbed me of peace and serenity with her. i understand Todd's anger more than ever in these times, alone...not trapped in an asylum. but in a world where i cannot trust or get close to anyone
This music is amazing. I love that you added the rain to it to actually make it feel like the Dark Knight environment. Love it so so so much!
"It's not who we are underneath, but what we do, that defines us." You, my friend, are a hero. Thanks!
What Batman said to Commisioner Gordon at the end of dark Knight rises about anyone can be a hero .....greatest line ever to end a hero's trilogy
I honestly don’t know why but this makes me feel sad and to cry. As if Batman has failed and he’s in mourning or something. Hope I’m not the only one who feels like this
that slow melody is sooooo nice (Orphan ) and beautifull
I imagine Batman brooding. Watching over Gotham like he swore to and will do so no matter what.
Batman has failed many, many, many times over the years. It's part of what makes him my favorite hero, because even when he fails, he gets back up. And tries again.
Not gonna lie, this brooding melody has gotten me through one of the most difficult years of my life. Thank you so much.
This music has got me through some dark times and it still is thank you
“You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain”
*I am whatever Gotham needs me to be*
When I listen to this ambient music I don't wanna go back to the real world, it sucks.
You have to be the Batman. Doing good even though no one knows you're doing it.
i mean...Gotham is literally a corrupt and crime-ridden city where people die every day.

Hans Zimmer has a way to make the soul get lost in wonder. Thank you for this Mr. Ambient!
The fact that there are people who gave this a thumbs down is proof that some people just want to watch the world burn
ive been through some rough shit these past years. mental health, self harm, suicidal thoughts, but batman was always an escapism for me. just listing to the music imagining i’m oh a high rooftop looking over gotham, nothing there to distract me or to take my mind away. i appreciate this so much as this is my escapism. thank you so much dude
As someone who loves the music from TDKT as much as TDKT itself, THANK YOU SO MUCH for this. This will help me fall asleep many a night I'm sure.
"A hero can be anyone, even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat on a young boy's shoulders to let him know that the world hadn't ended.”
Bruce telling Gordon not only who he is, but that Gordon is his hero broke me and still does to this day when I watch the series.
You'll hunt me. You'll condemn me, set the dogs on me. Because sometimes the truth isn't good enough... sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded.
The words doesn't exist enough to describe how good this is
Man, u've made it incredbly epic!! the turn in 1:28:15 is so hipping hahaha. Congrats dude, greatings from brazil s2
The night has fallen.
Gotham is quiet.
A bat lurks in the dark.
Protecting the weak and punishing the wicked
There's a new kind of mean in him
He is angry
And he is *hunting*

you’ll never know if you can fly, unless you take the risk of falling
-Richard Grayson
still coming back to this jewel
For any of you who struggle, remember, you're not alone. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone can change everything. It's what you do what defines you. You're us. You're him. The dark knight.
The rain is just amazing to the effect...haven’t been this entranced since tdk
The Dark Knight Trilogy and the Arkham Game Series
If you make yourself more than just a Man,
If devote yourself to an ideal and if they cant stop you,
Then you become something else entirely.
Life’s been feeling kind of hectic for me at the moment. This music helps eases the pain. Thank you so much for this.
"Some things happen by chance and some things happen because we make them happen"
-Thomas Wayne
"Life only makes sense if you force it to"
-Bruce Wayne
One of the best trilogies in the history of cinema.
2:37:23 whoever composed this part (we know who) must be an absolute genius!
R.I.P Kevin Conroy, yet another legend was taken from us, though he was old he had a beautiful and young spirit.
0:19 to 1:46 with the rain ambiance, a 1 hr loop wood be amazing.
More James Newton Howard plus, of course, Hans Zimmer! This will be cool!
Their Batman Begins album is my all time favorite
I just imagine Batman standing on a building and just stand there looking over gotham
Did you see him jumping around on the bottom right of the video?
@Rudraksh Tiwari look between the building and the tower on the right. Quick jumps back and forth and it's not fully clear but I see it.
And then you hear his stomach growl
Found this channel not too long ago and fell in love with it I listen to this 24/7 keep up the good work we all appreciate it!
"Its not who I am underneath...but what I do, that defines me"
This really helps while writing screenplays. Much love
perfect for reading batman comics
thanks for this
For me this is the greatest trilogy of movies I have watched at least once a year. Most times, I watch all them in a row. At times, I fee like Robin sitting in Bruce's corner and seeing his life unfold. Its exhilrating. This trilogy helps me endure my tough life. Thank you.
“you want to know something funny? Even after everything you’ve done. . . I would have saved you.”
To be honest, I never paid much attention to the music in this movie but wow this is beautiful
This calms my inner pain
Batman or Iron Man?
Dark Knight = "Like"
Iron Man = Comment
My friend batman can't even be compared to iron man :)
I don't know if this video is the best place to ask. Of course people here will choose the Dark Knight :)
BECAUSE HE IS BATMAN
Why limit yourself? Why not both? 😉
That's cheating though
I pick Spawn
How did you know I needed this right now? Lol
Been waiting months for them to make this
LilacFence // I hope you feel better.
LilacFence // Lilac I keep asking ladies, do you think it’s possible for men to act like knights again? I don’t mean in suits of armor, I just mean better.

Batman is one of the coolest superhero characters no joke
He is not a super hero but yes
Not a "Super" Hero, but just a Hero. Btw I do agree that's he's my favorite Hero of all time.
I don't know how many days and nights I listened to this.. makes me sooo emotional and the scene is just perfect. please do not remove this video for the next 200yrs..
"It's not who i am underneath, but what i do that defines me."
Great ambient music for reading Batman comics.
The rain washes away all the dirt in the city making it clean again, even if it‘s not for long.
I honestly love Gotham City, not because it‘s full of villains, corruption and blood, but because it‘s a home.
“A hero can be anyone.”
She quickly wrapped her arms around the scared and fearful boy, casting her gaze out among the panic inducing fog.
“It’s okay! Sh shh! It’s gonna be okay!” She was prepared to do anything to keep him safe.
*clicks hammer back on the pistol*
“Don’t peek...”
That’s right. Anything.
“Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring...”
He cracked his partner hard across the back of his head, sending him crumpling to the ground unconscious. The kids he was about to shoot took off, running further into the alley. He took gulpfuls of air, looking around and seeing nothing but unconscious if not dead fellow officers. But even still...he had to do something. Even if it meant he had to do it alone.
“...as putting a coat around a little boy’s shoulders...”
Gordon walked into the office, seeing the shellshocked child sitting in the corner. To him, his whole world had shattered, but he didn’t show a single bit of emotion. Gordon walked across the way, placing a coat over the boy’s shoulders. The boy looked at him as he knelt down, making eye contact.
“It’s gonna be alright...it’s gonna be okay.” He told him as best he could.
“...to let him know that the world hasn’t ended.”
You were right Bruce. You were right. There are indeed heroes and heroines among us.
I started listening to this right as a storm was beginning irl, and my half-asleep self thought, "Wow! That thunder is really realistic. It feels like it's shaking the whole building."
Still, an awesome video. Thanks so much.
Less than 2 minutes in and already I'm blown away...that first track is beautiful...
It's best to listen to this Early in the morning
Of all the Batman tracks out there, none of them will ever top this one for me. This is my favourite. By FAR!!!
