Yes, it is. The charger plugs into the dock, which the camera is then placed on to charge it, as well as transfer videos and photos off of it onto another device (such as a computer or compatible smartphone).
The charger can be plugged into the camcorder, and doing so will charge any battery inserted into it. Charging through the dock will yield the same result. An additional charger is not strictly necessary.

The lens is permanent to this camcorder and cannot be changed. Attachments such as filters can be attached, though.

What do you do when the hard disk runs out of storage?
You just delete the files. The camcorder only stores the raw footage. I upload those onto my computer, there I edit together the final video.

I got the battery with the camcorder when I bought it. It's not new, but it still works fine.
