Hi Everyone, Thank you for awesome comments! I love doing videos for the AG Magazine auctions...they raise money for great causes and it's challenging to pick up guitars I have never played before and just go for it. To some of you who wondered if I am using a pick or my fingers, I am using a tiny teardrop pick (Fender heavy for you gear-heads). All my best, Mimi

And she's playing without a pick!

@@JimB802 I wondered about that too but a couple hand shots suggest she may be using a small, jazz-style pick.

@@McClainWatson Slooooow the video waaaay down to .25 speed and go to :40 seconds and note that on her upstroke her fingers slightly part, there is no pick there. I'm experimenting with this while practicing scales. If you watch for a few more minutes you can clearly see that Mimi is using her thumb on both the up and down stroke for picking individual strings and using her index finger while strumming down.

@@JimB802 I definitely take your word for it! 😁 It's obviously incredible playing but I was also struck by the overall arrangement. I smiled the whole way through.

Wow! You rock! I love that you were on rhythm... I watch so many of these and their playing gets in the way of the rhythm. You kept it going. I'm amazed at your playing!

Great work, Mimi. I have to ask - did you improvise this on the fly or have you played it so many times you pretty much have it down to memory?
