Simply delightful! I recently picked up a copy of Arpeggio Studies on Jazz Standards by Mimi Fox (Mel Bay). Giving that a go because Jazz has always mystified me and mesmerized me - so it's like a puzzle I have and want to solve.
This is great! Andy Timmons too...I knew he was working on his jazz chops, and it pays off....everything is there: feel (accents/ swing in spades), note choice, freedom, creativity, vocabulary....

Good try on Andy's part, but he doesn't sound Jazz at all , in particular to Jam with a Jazz great like MiMi. it's a big contrast here.
