It's surprising (In a good way) how good she is, even if you compare her to Nightwish's current and past female lead singers. If Floor leaves, I hope Nightwish find Minniva. :)
I love Minniva, but I don't think she would be a great fit for Nightwish. Who knows.... I didn't give Floor enough credit at first but she is my favorite singer they have ever had. The Wacken 2013 version of Ghost Love Score is likely my favorite song of all time.... I would have to hear Minnava since that one to decide if she could fit in Nightwish.

I was super angry when it was taken down as well!
Too many trip words on the youtube algorithme. Dying children, virgin, etc. Gets cut automaticaly and you have too appeal to get it back. You tube is killing creativity in all domains with their new guidelines.
I've found that if I listen to this music in the evening, an earworm will continue playing this song for the whole night.
This is easily the most underrated Nightwish song ever done. I beg that one day Floor Jansen will do it, live and on Album. Not a bad cover at all, and my first I have seen of you. Not an easy song to do and you do it justice well done.

I've never heard this song before, and you just made me like it. When I found your channel I was skeptical at first, but you conquered me little by little and now I'm a fan. Your voice is very versatile and your range is incredible, people who are not singers don't realize how HARD is that, or how great it is to be able to sing both contemporary and lyrical, to growl and to have a sweet voice at the same time, to be able to respect the original style of the song but imprint your own style to make it sound special, and to be able to sell a song to a person (in this case me) that doesn't know it with your voice alone. You also improved the Cry for the Moon song in the sense you removed the excessive operatic vocals that I personally dislike, and you are able to deliver very famous songs like Bring Me To Life, Ever Dream or The Phantom of The Opera without imitating the original singer, and yet impressing extremely demanding fans that usually DESTROY all wannabes. Congratulations, you're a great rock singer.

I agree with you in her potential as a singer however, her timing is completely off. From the second verse straight into the chorus. It causes a discord that is grating on the ears. She was off by 2 -3 bars for that entire section of the song.
She nailed it at 3 minutes in and recovered though, so props for rolling with it and pressing on, and not taking that out of the recording. It shows you have potential as a performer.

Oh i think i figured out magnificancy of this cover: it looks truthy. Like 'first take'. No cuts, no noticeble effects. Really visible the effort you put to singing. Real emotions.
..Even this small delay before '.......virgin snow beneath my feet' and your emotions when you realized it.. it all makes this cover only better.
No boring visual effects, no noticible lipsycing. Pure sound, singing, emotions. That is exactly what modern scene lacks - the truth.

This is far superior to the original. Although I've never been a fan of Anette, but you're singing hundreds of times cleaner than she ever did.

I miss Jukka, he always pours his life into all the albums. I feel his sticks beat my ears and chest every time I listen to a song/album with him in it. I can't feel Kai at all, he just doesn't deliver his soul essence in Endless Forms Most Beautiful.

D:: Minniva - something seems to have went wrong with your song - it starts to be async starting 1:42 ... o_O... the voice is MUCH better than original, but this async... T__T.. It starts being correct in terms of timing with the refrain (at ~ 2:10)
Igor Dasunddas I think it sounds kinda cool with the music leading the vocals- it is a little weird missing the beat but after that one beat I like it...
I love this song and this cover, it's so much more powerful sung this way, especially the absolutely epic ending, but that slight mistiming always bothered me. However, is it just me or have they fixed it?! I can't tell if I'm just so used to this version by now that I'm accepting it, but I don't hear the flaw now that I used to.
I noticed it too. She misses the first note of the second verse, stays a beat behind the entire verse, And fixes it the second the chorus starts. She makes it work though, I didn't notice it the first several times

Ok, that was the VERY BEST cover I've ever heard by Minniva... omg.
The first time I heard this song it was put together with an anime. Is this all prerecorded? I have confidence you would do really well with your own music videos outside of your studio. Maybe a video with a nature setting? A beach? A snowy forest while wearing a Gothic dress that would put Tarja Turunen to shame? Either way you have too much energy and charisma and beauty to be confined to a studio. I like how you never look aggressive or tense in your videos. You look as if you are completely unconcerned with what viewers think. 7 people do not appreciate art. Shame on them.
I have to say it pretty much sonds like the original song to me. Which can be on pourpose but the 2nd vers you sing too late.
you can hear this at 2:00 ("Clayborn voyage without an end") - your "End" is way too late. Check the Original Song where it is on the first loud hit. This makes this part pretty wierd in my ears.

True, she has an amazing voice, but indeed is a full measure behind there (starting at 1:40 "Virgin snow beneath my feet"). This threw me off because you can hear her singing is behind on the baseline for the entire verse. Nevertheless an awesome performance.
Yep I noticed too! Very distracting. She has an AMAZING voice. But I can tell she may not be the strongest musician. A lot of singers I notice can struggle with timing.
also first couple of verses "all the dying children", the "children" is supposed to be emphasized on the first syllabe, she kinda said it all with the same tone
