Living in America I was always taught “all stereotypes are bad”. Then I moved to london. As a waitress, stereotypes were not only accurate, but knowing them made my job a million times easier. The Asians always ate family style, so bring extra plates. The French were kinda ducks, but didn’t demand constant attention. Middle eastern people always tried to order off menu, so I had to put them near the kitchen so I could have quick contact with the chef to explain the order. Americans were entitled and demanded constant attention, but tip really well. And Scottish get drunk and loud, so put them away from others... but hang out there, cause they are cool AF.
Once the society gets past negative judgement based on stereotypes of people, they are just “good predictors of behavior” that help you do your job better in the service industry

@@Shagyamum it’s funny tho, in England, “black” isn’t a race you can stereotype. I had black English friends from across the spectrum. From cockney, posh, nerd, crazy festival circus people, etc… same with Muslims. Those are just not stereotypes in England for most groups we stereotype in America
@@thefreedommovement yes we need specific stereotypes in London. The stereotypes about Somalians, for example, tend to be pretty accurate. Same goes for Jews, Irish, etc.

At first, I didn’t get it. Then when I tasted fried chicken cooked by a black dude from the South, I got it. They use more seasonings and it just tastes so much better than the typical fried chicken that any average white family makes. This dude was acting like his fried chicken wasn’t a big deal too. If his fried chicken wasn’t a big deal to him, then I wonder what his grandma’s fried chicken tasted like.

That stereotype started in a film called Birth of a Nation, which is the film that pretty much innovated how camera angles and cinematography in films have been for past hundred years now, but is also a REALLY fn racist film. . .
The Million Man March one needs a bit of context. In the episode, Peter goes to a camp where he finds his feminine side. He becomes this really emasculated, activist-minded feminist. When he's talking about how there's so much violence, in his mind he's talking about men in general (which alone would be inflammatory). Because it's the Million Man March, they think he's talking about Black people.
I thought the context makes it even funnier.
I always hate the cut of that joke in these comps, it isn't that funny out of context.

If you're wondering about the kitten, there is a youtube channel that often posts compilation videos of family guy and the person that runs the channel often puts random shit at the end of the videos and actually got a lot of heat for putting video clips of girls at the end of a few vids. It got so weird that he would put clips of one specific girl and caused some concerns that resulted in him either deleting the videos entirely or just edited them to blur their faces.
That “black guy in sweeden” joke is 100% true in china.
They will literally stare and follow black people around, take pictures of you… it’s crazy. They have zero self control or sense of personal space. My cousin went and said it was the most uncomfortable time of her life and my young niece hid in the hotel crying for two days until they left…
She sent me videos when she got back of the same thing happening to many other black tourists… it’s fucking crazy! There were people following them like celebrities, crowding around just to look at them, people would wave and smile and yell “You black!” at them… I never would’ve believed it if I didn’t see it and my own family experienced it!

I'm not proud of saying that I sometimes I stare perhaps too much at black people when I see then in tourist areas. I don't know why is it but is just cheer curiosity of knowing someone who looks and talks different from pretty much anyone you've ever met. I guess is the same over there but, taking pictures is just straight up weird.

I used to work as a locksmiths assistant in Brooklyn fixing, replacing, installing new doors and locks (among many other things) for a company that gave apartments virtually free to homeless people who had all kinds of mental illnesses. I was in really bad neighborhoods where people of all colors were doing shady shit. No people of color ever gave me a hard time, always paid full price up front without complaining and were nice. Sometimes we'd get additional calls to other neighborhoods outside of that companies network - sometimes rich neighborhoods. Rich people were always the shittiest people. They treated us bad and ALWAYS negotiated for a lower price. Living in NY brings you close to all kinds of people at a young age and as a kid you don't really think about it cuz anyone no matter color could be your best friend or your worst enemy. Racism is alive and well everywhere though which sucks - I imagine. Edit: Why'd you roast the kitten dude.

The Sweden one reminds me of a story my dad told me about his hometown back in Mexico. Apparently a African American man moved there and everyone in town would always stare at him like he was some weird oddity. Some of them would even go buy him weed so they could watch him smoke it

Fun fact: The first recorded fried chicken recipe originated from Scotland as far back as 1747 although Europeans had been frying pieces of meat since the Roman times. West African people did have their own recipes involving battering and frying pieces of chicken with palm oil but the recipe was completely different to the ones we use today. tbh you were right the first time. I also got linked to this video from a video of a girl reacting to bill burr ranting about women. It's the same template. Girl listens to content that's offensive to feminists, but without visibly getting enraged and doing her best job as an actress to try to look like she's enjoying it, incessantly laughing a fake laugh, to try to show the men viewing her channel that she's different. Black man watches content that's offensive to the sort that's constantly up in arms about racism and seeing it everywhere especially where it isn't, but without visibly getting enraged and doing his best job as an actor to try to look like he's enjoying it, to try to show the white people viewing his channel he's different. It's really low hanging fruit and the least respectable or original template IMHO.
