You took the set boots off so you wouldn’t get the set piece offered for them, but then picked them up later and they got equipped again so you got the matching gloves!!
Yee, there's a dex perk, called raised morale, that stacks damage per room you don't take damage, in the perk details (where it explains what burn or glitter is) it does say: avoid getting hit with blocks and evades, That's the only reference I got to that mechanic and it's a small one.
There is a meta upgrade that make rarity boss drop will be all items (all epic or higher/all legendary). You should save red dices for 3rd and 2nd last bosses. They have higher chance for thosenall epic / legendary
I have gotten the third piece while having 2 chest set pieces. Maybe you had curse, it might make a difference. You had luck 10 on level 3, that is because of your metaprogression choice (+1 luck for dungeon level 1 to 3) You get zero lucky hit by default. If you kept your magic find it would have helped you get your set bonus for sure. Nice work perfecting the boss, that was impressive.
Considering this is a roguelike. And on top of that, keywords are highlighted. I would suspect the game dev to make said keywords extremely important. It blocks a HIT. Not damage in general.
The block tooltip says block prevents one *hit* of damage, hit is a keyword, I guess that's why it doesn't block blood chest? It's damage but it's not a hit. Is the armor tooltip different? I don't remember. (Edit: armor doesn't have a tooltip, great). Also there are effects / bonuses that care whether you took damage, and others whether you took a hit. Maybe if you block or evade it doesn't count as taking a hit since it's prevented? But using a block counts as taking damage (like for the boss reward perk). The whole thing is not very intuitive IMO.
Block and evasion prevent damage from getting hit. In the case of the heart chest you're taking damage but not technically getting hit. If you read one of the perks that stacks on clearing rooms without taking damage, you'll see that it recommends block and dodge to avoid taking damage. This is unlike the meta progression that gives rewards on not getting hit - you lose those rewards if you evade or block. Therefore you can get bonus end of floor rewards if you take damage from a heart chest because you didn't get hit.
Im one of the ones who said bombs are good boss damage, Though in retrospect i should clarafy they don't look like much when you only use on against death while comparing it to a legeldary weapon. Try it earlier on in the game if you're in a weapon slog... though you can still blast death, you just need more bomb damage or more bombs :Di killed greyon in about 2 seconds with half a 7-8 bombs the other day lol
I did see it, but if you were listening to any point of the whole video, you'd know I didn't want a weapon because of **taps title** extremely obvious reasons.
I have, I don't think the remaining 6 perks make the game more fun, so I play without them. Some of them were killing my enjoyment of the entire game even. Maybe later they won't.
fair, I havent gotten up there yet but figured it would be more of a difficulty spike rather than anything burdensome/annoying to deal with.. The vids are awesome btw, keep it up! @@Retromation
Sets definitely need a rework of some sort, going through the whole run trying to get a specific set only to either just not get it or to realize you could have accomplished way more with 2 uncommons is kinda annoying. only like 2 or 3 of them are even worth it
I've seen it several times. I think I've seen the hat more often then either body armors. Just luck of the draw. I kinda hate sets with redundant pieces though. Cause you have body armor already and then the game is like.. oh you like this set? Here have another piece! And it's.. another body armor. instead of the hat which you actually need.

Forgot to mention this can be all are set items too
For the hero sword there is a upgrade for each element: fire, ice, poison, lightning .
Bomb the first floor bosses not the last......
There's also a light and a dark. Cool to have so much replayability
@@Beeeazybones oo i did not find the light or dark for waht i played
The two characters in looking forward to you experiencing mist are cyborg and superhero. It will be a long wait and completely worth it!
More Tiny Rogues! Loved your first series on it, bought it after I heard the new update came out!
I have gotten the third piece while having 2 chest set pieces.

Looking forward to seeing the unlocked characters. Ty for the series!!
i felt the same way with the "take 1 heart of damage" thing. hard lesson learned :D

Glad to see you’re still pursuing your passion! How’s life been going/treating you? Is everything all gooood?😋

I bet the Demon Hunter would be great for Broken Hero Sword runs with all of the double reward rooms.
4:44 luck upgraded Royal Armory i was like he saw that right?, inmediatly "nope" the other one

14:50 Retro van derline
Lightning sword is my favorite but ice is super fun too
have you done a 16 cinder run? you're making 10 seem like a cakewalk
He has, to get the achievements for and 16 cinder and something about 34 total mastery or something on the same run

Literally better starting kit compared to the depraved
21:45 that soul lantern has Infinite scaling, 1000% should've gone with it.
He knows, he did a run with it and got extrimly powerful and i guss didnt want to use it again because its so powerful
whats up with ur blacksmiths always having 4 upgrade levels? mine only go to 3, is it a meta upgrade?😢
Yeah, there's a perk that makes all blacksmiths upgrade to level 4.
Hold on …. Is the stone mask a
JoJo reference
Feels like this episode was extra unlucky. Always got the worst items and rooms lol
Your rogues are _so tiny_ they thought a toothpick was a polearm. 2 handed. So tiny.
Yo Reto you know you can hold shift to compare items bro
I've never seen the 2nd piece of the oktoberfest offered. At this point I wonder if it's a bug
