Simply amazed by your way of working both with the technology as well as your cooking. I have become a fan since the day I saw your audition for master chef.. and congratulations ✌️️😊
Akilan, Master Chef and Gordon Ramsay changed her life. Gordon Ramsay taught her about the confidence that she had within herself. He still refers to her as the best chef that was ever on the Master Chef show.
Christine you are such an inspirational and charismatic lady! You win Masterchef, have a great sense of humour and show a kind of positivity towards life that some people don't have! Loving your videos!
You're so amazing Christine, you did many incredible things, not only your dishes but also the way you manage your daily life. I really really admire you for everything you did. Love you!
I came across your page because I went blind and 9 months ago and I just wanted inspiration and I find that you are very inspirational my question is how did you start your RUclips page and how would someone go about editing and I'm interested in starting my own RUclips page with editing but I don't have the skills
Oh my goodness. The voiceover on the iPhone brings back memories. I used to be a sales rep at a cell phone store and customers would come in having accidentally turning on the voiceover and having no clue how to turn it off. Lol. It was hitting the home button 3 times LOL
shes slim , no acne , well groomed hair and good dressing sense , shes taking perfect care of herself , makes me realise I have NO excuse to be lazy and slightly overweight now :( Going to get off my butt and work hard to look better , thank u Christine for the inspiration. - Love from Oman

Christine, thank you for being such a motivation to my life. I used to tell myself, when I first created my business at the age of 15, how impossible it is for me to succeed. Seeing you make extraordinary strides in your life with such an obstacle makes me feel that you are one of many great heroes of our time. Thank you for always remaining humble and positive and I wish you a long and happy life with your husband! P.S You are awesome.
Watching this video make me happy, because i was confusing about who reply my tweet to you on twitter. Now i know that was you. Love your video, it make me improve my listening skill for my upcoming Toeic test.
I was so inspired by your journey at the Masterchef kitchen, and I really believed in you from the beginning! I don't know whether you're going to see this, I hope you do, but you are great, so genuine, wish I had half of your power!!!
Recently I watched the Masterchef season you were in and I felt like a fool for not knowing who you are before, but now that I know you seem like a good example to follow, honestly this may be delayed but congratulations on winning and keep doing what you do best.
Christene! Thanks for episode 4!!!!!! This opens up SO much for our daughter Audrey Rose (no eyeballs and severe heart disease). Here is my 7 year old daughter onstage with San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick. Thought you and your husband might like listening to this! :-) 49er's Colin Kaepernick with Audrey Rose WALKER singing "Let it Go" - Camp Taylor Heart Camp!!! Regards, Jim Walker for Audrey Rose
Technology is a wonderful thing. I am waiting for the day when my nonverbal daughter that lives with cerebral palsy to be able to communicate. We are now teaching her how to use switch adapters for toys and to interact with books she is doing amazing.
Love this! I have lots of blind friends who use Apple stuff for their voiceover capabilities (but personally I'm a PC/Droid fan, as I don't use much voiceover accessibility features- in favor of magnification and zoom options), so it's wonderful to see someone sharing what these tools are like w/the world. Way to use your powers for good, Ms. Ha! ^_^ Thanks for sharing, and keep up the wonderful work! ♥

@@theblindcook I just have a quick question. I am trying to learn to type more quickly with my thumbs. Is there a way to hold your phone in a comfortable position while you're typing? I was just curious. I am totally blind. I have been since birth. You inspire me so much! I help my dad or grandma make dinner sometimes. I hope that over time I will learn how to cook like you! 🥰
You just.make our life more beautiful, as a Vietnamese people who live in States or our mother land we are so proud of you and for what you have done and went thru . Thanks for sharing
I wish I could meet you. I found your recipe by accident about a month ago and have really enjoyed making some of you dishes, then I found old clip of Master Chef and watching you work felt like an experience. Keep being awesome, a fan.
Let's see. Chicken Curry, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Stir-Fried Macaroni With Beef (though admittedly I need more practice on this one), Candied Bacon, Humble Apple Pie and Coconut-Lime Sorbet.
I love you Christine and i love how you are with your friends :) ! Love your videos, blind life series is really cool . All the best from Serbia and Czech Republic ! Congrats on winning MC-S3!! I have watched it this year ... a bit late, but i hope you dont mind. (heart)
Thank you for starting these videos. I was suppose to lose my eyesight when I was 16, but was blessed with 10 more years and am now losing my right eye. Myleft has always been going and being 26 yrs old.. I am scared I will lose both eyes very soon since there both blurry. Heh.... Is there any programs that helped you out?
That is really cool! I think technology has made it a lot easier for people with vision or hearing loss. I can hear what sounds like a hard drive clatter in the background, not sure if it is your camera or where it is coming from. If it is a hard drive, it isn't supposed to be that noisy and it is probably going to fail soon.
LOL I love how you called your husband out for being a slow typer. Your typing might even be a little faster than his, which is an amazing feat considering it's sheer muscle memory.
It is amazing to know that Christine is such an amazing talented person. Also nice technology. I wonder if voice over is available on Windows computers or PCs. As many people can't afford to buy apple products, I'm one of them. I'm just curios to know.
I've just now got big on your video's your a big inspiration for me! I'm a single mom who works six days week and I enjoy cooking as well! my oldest son is a very picky eater with special needs is there any dishes you can recommend I can make with greens in it that he will like?
+Brit Marcott thank you! Check out my blog theblindcook.com/. Don't know your child's taste but hope you'll find something. Ask me anything in the comments.
Just so you know. The assistance tools are on ALL computers nowadays. Mac and PC. Windows also has audible transcriptions as well as dictation built-in. Win also includes different settings for the color-blind as well as Magnification for the visually impaired ...since Windows XP ;)
Hi Christine, Im Ha Anh, I have watched your chanel recently and in this video I ve to say that, Im learning english pedagogy (im Vietnamese) and Listening skill is one of the four basic skills that I've got to train.I wish to have the same listening skill level as yours (as u listen to the voice in Macbook) then I would master all the exams and so confident in the real life LOL will support your chanel continuously so keep makind OK?
Very interested to find this come up on Facebook today. My son has been blind since birth which adds some extra challenges I think. He successfully used a computer with JAWS and his phone has a Talks program but recently asked me about an ipad so was interested to see you using the touch screen, he is also constantly asked how he can use technology.
You rock Christine. I love your philosophy on life. Wish I could taste your food. When your mum died, what words and actions were comforting and what words had a negative impact? By the way, you always mention wrinkles, you have no wrinkles, look about 28 years old lol
I heard about you from a video I found on Facebook; it was a video of Gordon Ramsey's soft side, apparently. But from that, I wanted to learn more about you so I explored on RUclips. You have a great voice and an energy that feels beautiful. Speaking of which, do you use energies to differentiate different people to tell who they are when they stand next to you and such?
HI Christine!! I love your videos and your attitude. I have a few questions for you too. Since going blind do you find that your memory has improved? Has your sense of taste or perception of certain food changed? The reason I asked is that I once visited the restaurant Dans la Noir (in the dark) where the entire restaurant is pitch black. Since I couldn't see my food I found it much more easy to judge the quality of the cooking rather than presentation. I have to say all of your meals seem to be beautifully presented, i wonder if presentation still factors into your enjoyment of a meal? and if yes, how can you tell if a meal is well presented?
Such good q's. 1) yes, memory has improved greatly out of necessity. 2) yes, I focus much more on the mouth experience of a meal rather than presentation (taste, temp, texture). 3) I prefer simpler presentation for myself as it's all about how easy it is to eat but I still understand the sighted person's need to eat with their eyes first.
"You're gonna see my wrinkles" … Christine you have no wrinkles 😂
+James Galante Too kind! :)
Asian women am I right?
James Galante i got distracted for like a minute examining her face for "wrinkles"
LOL!!!
I realize it is quite off topic but do anybody know of a good place to watch new movies online ?
I shop with girlfriends who know my style and whose taste I trust.
