Thought this was a video I've not see but low and behold 2 yrs have gone by! Finally got a Buckmark though. A Buckmark Plus UDX in stainless. Thanks for the video again Sir. Look out for the safety Nannies LOL
@@paulscountry456 Mine has a factory fiber optic on it and I'm planning to get a reflex red dot from Browning specifically made for the Buckmark. Thanks
Your right about 380 being better for self defense, there's no doubt about that. I gotta admit though if I had to leave for war and could choose the Buckmark is going with me. I was blessed to get one that eats all ammo like a Glock
I have two buckmarks and they both cycle everything quite well. So does my sons buckmark. The only thing I will say is use high velocity ammo. I have two semi auto 22 rifles and the same thing holds for them. some ammo brands aren't very consistent and find some misfires due to quality issues. I keep my actions clean and not over lubed. This pistol is very accurate and love to shoot it. I put on a truglo reflex sight and have the hunter with 7.25" barrel. It will shoot groups that can be covered with a dime at 25 yds when I can hold steady.
I bought one a couple of years ago for the specific purpose of squirrel hunting. It shoots less than 1" groups at 25 yards and is a lot of fun to shoot.
My Buckmark was unreliable the first 100 or so rounds. I think I was over oiling it a bit. Mine tends to run great when I barely oil it. Cci runs great, but I find federal American eagle bulk runs very well too. A good gun for the money!
I put a new recoil guide assembly in mine and a Tandemkross spring for trigger, now it won't fail at all with standard velocity or hotter ammo.Gonna do more vids on this soon.
I’ve heard that using dry line helps with the 10/22. I wonder if it would be useful for your buck mark. I prefer to run dry and haven’t come across any issues with it. Oils may grab gunk.
I enjoyed watching you hit those shots. Nice work. I wish I had a place to shoot like that. I enjoyed the commentary too. Keep on being you. It's too late to stop now anyway.
@@paulscountry456 I just ran on to the Buck Mark recently. I’m looking to get a pistol to sharpen my skills with and just plain enjoy and am pretty sure I found it. I wish they made a 22 mag though. I just love that round. 22 will have to do.
@@gregbruns8442 22mag is a powerhouse in a rifle, not so good in pistols, not worth the expense for only a moderate velocity increase, longer barrel buckmarks are better in their pistol line .
@@paulscountry456 I love the extra pop from a 22 mag out of a pistol. The smile it puts on my face is worth it to me. It also is a very flat shooting cartridge for as far as it is viable. I’m not sure what I’ll end up with for a Buck Mark. Lots of options, that’s for sure.
The buckmark is an excellent rimfire pistol and love shooting it, that premium winchester ammo isn’t that bad. I have some older winchester Xpert and it sucks in semiautomatics, lucky me a bolt action marlin actually does like it. But if I have a choice Federal and blazer are first in line.
I have a recent video on cci select ammo and Buckmark ,check it out.I will do more on this great pistol. Most vape shops here are in bad shape since the Democrats outlawed flavored juice last year, costing thousands of jobs.
I have that exact same pistol. Bought it about five years ago for $275 with about 2500 rounds. It's DEFINITELY picky on ammo. I've had many cycling issues, but haven't ever considered it related to the pistol. Most of my .22s have occasional hiccups. I love the Buckmark, though. Outstanding shooter.
Yeah ,not sure about those mags, but this is capable of half inch groups rested at 25 ,I put a fiber optic metal sight on the front, easy install ,factory sight is plastic,Dawson sight.
have a good long look at your magazine and slowly feed a round in as you control the slide going forward, the feed lips should release the round just as the bullet nose touches the feed ramp. It sometimes will not release at all or will release too late, meaning you have to GENTLY bend the magazines feed lips either in or out a trifle, and try feeding a round through it again. Hope this helps! or just buy a new magazine!
If you were to hit me with that I promise you that I would not want to play anymore. I would want to go home. I would not discount it for self defense.
The first time I ever shot a hand gun was in the army I think it was 10 meters out ... I was shocked at how many missed from so close ... the machine guns were even worse lots of bullets low and in the dirt , feathering the trigger is a talent ... the trick is not to spend all the bullets with one squeeze ... Z
The 45s 1911 I had in the 80s was a sloppy mismatched service gun and really bad, to this day I hate 1911s..These are crude conditions I'm shooting in here off my hood , not very stable like a Bench.
Winchester is the worst ammo you can shoot in a semi-auto, absolute junk. Revolvers and lever, guns that don't require constant dependable pressure every shot. Bolt actions are fine, you won't like the accuracy if yer picky. Winchester used to make good rimfire, those days are gone. Sad. It's also gives a lot of duds, no primer compound.
I own a Buckmark, use feet and yards because I live in a country that has the courtesy not to use the metric system. If you want to use the metric system, move to a third world country like Canada.

I havve a browning Nomad '67 model. A tack driver but likes CCI the best but does OK with Federal bulk ammo
I had my first range session with the mini bul and it actually shot Remington Thunderbolt better than mini mags.

My buckmark cycles everything. My 10/22 on the other hand needs high velocity.
I always get finicky semis, I like revolvers more in some ways.
Was that a Bigfoot turd laying there by the brush pile????
Lol,hmm Bigfoot are a protected species in Washington under unclassified wildlife.Never seen one,but heard some...
Maybe Bigfoot can't get through there, but I bet Dogmen can.

@@paulscountry456 The Pckled Pepper is closed. I heard they were trying to turn it into a strip joint.
You are correct .22 Winchester crap and what you were shooting was some of their premium ammo!
Had two duds out of about 60 I shot, both had deep notches and should have ignited.I think federal is the worst 22 ammo.
Also , a round-nose bullet is less likely to jam than a hollow-point !!!
Good shoot... Nice
Hey, you could draw some targets!

nice 22 shooting gloves
Batting gloves Big 5
