Fun fact: that's a design that was supposed to be in Dinosaur Revolution but was scrapped.
fun fact: the grey acro design and footage from 'monsters ressurected' is supposed to be in 'dinosaur revolution' but they didn't use the footage for some reason, so monsters ressurected use the footage since both docu series are made by discovery channel

I weirdly Love chunky acro. The large barrel build makes it look like an absolute unit of an animal, it makes it look oddly more Powerful
The ARK Acro is a mod but I believe they're planning on making it an official dino. Same with ceratosaurus and a few others
Acrocanthosaurus also appeared in the Discovery channel documentary simply called Prehistoric. Two episodes, same design. One was D.C and the other was Dallas.
The Beast of Bermuda acro model actually changed as that was the old model you showed, the new one looks much better! The Absentia Acro is incredible and is getting some updated buffs!
Fav Acro of mine is the Dinosaur King one, especially the Alpha version with the bright pink spines and the black body. Acro has been a favorite of mine ever since.
The acro mod for ark and a couple more modded creatures from a certain mod pack are being officially adddd to the game, woth ceratosaurus coming out close to the end of this month (Estimate from Wildcard)
I feel kind of sorry for the acrocanthosaurus from dinosaur king, because he found the fossils of his family and all he wanted to do was protect his family even though they're extinct

i have a funny story with this dinosaur, every time my friend would play Jurassic Park Operation Genesis it would go pretty smoothly until he'd add THIS Dinosaur, in which case it would always bust out and kill everyone, it happened 3 times

I personally really enjoy finding out about species and specimens I wasnt aware about and getting the inspiration to look into them more and I am sure I'm not alone on this fascination.
Divine Beast's Acro is actually getting a rework! It's model from what's been shown is very close to Prior Extinction's Acro!
The rework looks way better than the current, which usually wouldnt be saying much since dbs models usually SUCK but this ones great

Like how the alpha Acro from Dinosaur King looks like evolved Godzilla from GxK. Dinosaur King predicted the future of the Monsterverse and it went right under everyone's noses.
I also liked the white Acrocanthosaurus version of Monsters Resurrected better than the green one. I thought the green one moved a bit too unintentionally goofy, like if it shat its pants lol.

I remember him appearing in the episodes “Prehistoric: Dallas and Washington D.C.” showcasing him being an expert sauropod hunter.
It's one of my favorites because we're both from Texas, but I think people sleep on how BIG of an animal this thing was. It's a big ass Boi ! It wasn't terribly heavy, you get the point.

The ark one is fun. They used the hump as a sheild stance sort of deal, and its roar is almost universally recognized as the best in the game

On Minecraft Bedrock Edition, there’s an addon called Prehistoric Animalia with a very nice Acrocanthosaurus design along with many other very accurate creatures.

The more elongated model of Acracanthosaurus from Monsters Resurrected was originally made for Dinosaur Revolution in a segment called "Drunk Dinos" along with an unidentified North American iguanodontid. Their models can easily be found on the internet.

I do, unfortunately. A few more weeks apparently, but they’ve already extended it a few times haha.
The JWTG Acro was based on the Spino’s base model and animation, same as the Cerato, that’s why it looks wired. The JWA one was using the T.rex base model and animation, but Ludia actually hired better designers to make the models look better.

The Monsters Resurrected Acro manages to somehow be behaviourally the best carcharodontosaur depiction in media, simply because everything else is WAY worse.

Acrocanthosaurus Atokensis is a species of Acrocanthosaurus that lived 113-110 mya it lived in the antlers and cloverly formation its hump possibly was also used for display and hump actually describes what i think what acros are trying to acheive with thei hump it had 3 claws and fingers on its hands and 4 toes with the 1st toe being vestigial its jaw drooped a bit at near the tip it had extremely serrated teeth it mainly Ate the iguanadontid tenotosaurus a vulnerable or young astrodon or sauroposeidon in the antlers formation but in the cloverly formation it mainly ate sauroposeidon and tenotosaurus and VERY rarely sauropelta it had a sleek body monsters resurrected's grey variant pretty much shows what we think acrocanthosaurus looked like it may have hunted by biting into its prey causing a large wound and if it fended off the acro it would slowly bleed out and maybe get some infections on the side oh and in the albian stage of the early cretaceous thats when grass appeared so thats cool it could get up to 2 metres or 6 feet tall like 11.6metres long or 38 feet long and could weigh up to 7 tons its top jaw had more teeth than its bottom jaw

I still find it so strange that Roblox games have gotten to a point where they’ve got way higher quality accurate designs than some shows/games/documentaries.

Where is the acrocanthosaurus from THE ISLE my friend? One of the best dinosaur designs in all games, and he just didn't appear... kind of sad and disappointed😢
I honestly didn’t know the isle ever had one.
Yeah there we're two skins for the acro in the isle the first one was more orange and has a lot of stripes on its face all the way back to its tail when the isle was still in development in 2016,while the current skin color is a bit more grey and has blue stripes on its hump like back,the evrima design has a more chonky appearance and has lips to it and its skin resembles its 2016 skin pattern.@@prehistoricchannel128
