Woah rare! Who knew a freighter could talk? Very cool! Probably one of the best running KONE freighters so far. Except maybe that door closer. Oof. Nice art on that white panel as well. Very original.
They didn’t get banned - probably just asked to leave. But they will just think you are someone who works there as there are a lot of different employees from different stores
@@TechNerdNolan One dandy of a fright elevator and runs so smoothly. guess you will have to see about getting permission to see the machine room, as to the type of machine it is.
The Palisades Center has all MontgomeryKONE Traction freight elevators that are VERY FAST and make AMAZING sounds! Especially #13 and #18. That’s why I love them so much
I think I was on the 2nd floor and there’s a door next to the 2 fujitecs in elevator bank D. And then you follow a hallway and at one point you turn left
not a mx32 because max cap for those in 2:1 which is what this is 3200 kg and not mx40 because max cap for 2:1 is 4000 kg. With this conclusion, this freight elevator uses kone's mx100 motor or it could be a mx 20+ at 4:1 with a max cap at 5000 kg.
This is so damn rare for a talking freighters . What a very good find

wow!
Any tips with getting to the loading docks without permission?
Just go in like you would do any other place
@@TechNerdNolan sorry, nervous about getting caught
You’re fine don’t worry and yeah I get it but what can they do
I’ve seen other RUclipsrs get caught and they get banned

Amazing al
Al Gore
I found a 7-story KONE freight elevator in Arlington VA similar to this one. I will try to get a video this summer!
Ride the worlds steepest roller coaster in this mall too
I wonder how many floors max these things can serve.
You mean the machine?
@@TechNerdNolan Yes
@@asphaltandtacos it depends on speed and capacity
A fright elevator this large, would likely have a 2:1 roping maybe under-sluged along with a compensating sheave on the counterweight.
As far as I know, MX40 is only 1:1. I highly doubt this but this could be an MRL MX20, as MX20 can carry 10000+ lbs at 150 - 200fpm

Now confirmed to be MX32
@@TechNerdNolan How did you confirm it to be an MX32, did you talk to a KONE tech that worked on installing this one?
@@harrisonaparin244 I did talk to a KONE tech about this elevator, but the tech didn't install this one. I just gave specifications
Were you able to get to the other one and I'm curious - what makes #13 and #18 better than the rest?
The Palisades Center has all MontgomeryKONE Traction freight elevators that are VERY FAST and make AMAZING sounds! Especially #13 and #18. That’s why I love them so much
I don’t know why I didn’t answer your original question. No I wasn’t able too :(
@@TechNerdNolan It's all good. Hopefully, next time.
Do you think the top floors of this freight go to where the "escalators to nowhere" go?
Do you mean the escalators in the food court?
i dont know why they put straps on the doors if its powered
So that the doors can still be operated manually if the door motor breaks
2:50 😂😂😂
I don't think this would have a eco disk. Probably a holister Whitney geared machine because I've seen Kone use them before.
You can hear the EcoDisc brake when you press the button
Where approximately in the mall is this? I kinda need a reply asap.. there right now
Near Elevator Bank D
I think I was on the 2nd floor and there’s a door next to the 2 fujitecs in elevator bank D. And then you follow a hallway and at one point you turn left
Make sure to see the Kone EcoSystemMR aswell
Did you find it
@@TechNerdNolan Not yet, what court is D bank in?

There’s no way an MX100 would be at the same elevator as an MX20
@@TechNerdNolan Mx 20+ with 4:1 cable
@@Thecaliforniaelevatorchannel yeah there’s no way
@@Thecaliforniaelevatorchannel this elevator also has to carry a gate, and has to have loading capabilities
@@TechNerdNolan then with these circumstances, it’s a mx100 motor or a Mx 40 with 4:1 cable
Very cool elevator! The hoistway door motors sounds horrible though
That’s courion for ya
They built wood stud walls within the cab.
Stop stating obvious.
Wow I didn’t notice! THANK YOU for telling me!!
UBS Arena has this exact elevator but no speech only passenger elevators do
UBS Arena’s freight doesn’t have a Kone controller
I doubt this is MRL
It’s not
I don’t get y they decide to build WOODEN WALLS for a newer model. Like cmon stick with the stainless steel. Also that does seem very unique
I think it’s to protect the cab
2:50 nice graffiti
I get you but is it your have a ride international
International ever information illumation
More time international of ilumination
