It's all well and good saying that it's decent quality meat going into them, but once the takeaway shop gets hold of that meat it may well be a different story. A lot of these places have terrible food hygiene standards, and when you think about how many times your slice of meat could have been reheated, it definitely begs the question about how safe it really is!
I know it's not like the Mediterranean stuff but doner here in the UK is still gorgeous. It has saved my appetite on many occasions, so whatever you health nuts say that must make it healthy.
What really fucks with me is the way he says döner. It's döner, not donner, dammit! Then again, being from a country which actually has the ö letter in it's alphabet and has a fairly large Turkish population might give me an advantage there...
