I use that same apple barrel paint it gets a bad rap and I think it comes out perfect but I think if you spray it with some polyurethane it makes some of the best miniatures I’ve ever painted
@@FrankyDCrafter 😁 This video reminds me of how things can come full circle. When the creators of the original DooM game in the 1990's were designing the sprites for the enemies, they were greatly influenced by AD&D 1st & 2nd Editions. For instance, look up (or do an image search) for AD&D 1st Edition beholder and then AD&D 1st Edition book called "Manual of the Planes." BooM - Cacodemon The paint scheme (awesome) you used for your beholder build is reminiscent of a Cacodemon - the coincidence just made me think about things going full circle. 👍👍👍
Credo DM I know exactly what you mean. Before I knew about dnd I played a lot of dragon quest. It’s in my top five favorite series of all time. Then I started getting into dnd in my 20’s. I later come to find out that dragon quest was heavily influenced by dnd. Full circle.
Love your beholder man
"I don't know what it's called but it's a wire that is used to make jewelry...". I think it's called jewlerywire 😜.
Looks great btw.
Funny one! Like that❤️
Thank you mate

Great vid! Your painting techniques are really cool, and it's refreshing to see some actual sculpting. Great work!
Steve Hamilton Thank you so much. Painting is what im a bit self conscious of. It means a lot to me to hear that you like it.
This is awesome!
Hmmmm.... Your Cacodemon grew eyestalks... oh wait...
Seriously, great build. You have some serious paint skills, plus the sculpting is great.
Pax ✌️
Credo DM i had to look up what a Cacodemon was. I will never see this mini in the same way ever again.
