I watced the whole file. All the while I was saying to myself "This looks like crap. Messy, no blending just uugh. " Then BOOM!!!! Great job. Thanks. Guess that is why I am a noob painter. Learning all the time. Subed on the first view.
this is a great looking beholder. I found when I did mine and fastened it to the base it was a bit top heavy and kept falling over in the end I added some rocks from the garden to give it weight. I made mine using a ping pong ball. I bought a packet of these skulls last Halloween. I've done a few projects with them, I was looking for something else to do with them ( I also have some spare tentacles from the Wizz Kids Beholder figures) I think I will do a couple of these
First time I found this channel, this stuff is amazing but I have one question where do you get all of those different paints that have those effect, for example; the red one that made it more flesh-like in appearance
Hey! First off thanks for your kind words :) So actually in each video in the description I list EVERY paint I used (links to them) this one is tamiya color red :)
That is absolutely hideous. Did you hide it under the table and dramatically reveal it mid-session? I imagine everyone going "Christ!" and recoiling from its slimy awfulness. This is meant as a compliment by the way. A beholder should be a monstrous, grinning freak of a thing, and yours certainly fits the bill.
Damn that turned out pretty fantastic, excellent job! The glass eyes are a must buy when making one.
Thanks :) Yes I bought a ton of them, so many uses....
Honestly, dude, you saved me from boredom. Thx for the video, it looks great.
My mission is complete! :)
The dot pattern in the back was genius. Nice to see you drop a video.
It has indeed been WAY too long. I am hoping to hit it much harder here and get some regular content going again.
Do it with a basketball. Or something the same size but lighter. Use LEDs to make the eyes glow. Perfect nitelite for your toddlers.
hahahahaha

I often find most of the way through stuff looks like crap.... till the very end! Thanks for the watch :)
So, I was inspired by this video and started making one...its coming out pretty sweet...thanks!!
Awesome! Post it to the facebook page! Would love to see it when it is done!
@@CriticalCrafting Absolutely!! My hubby loves it so much, he asked me to make him one as well!
Nice sculpting, using the skull as a base so you didn't have to worry about the anatomy was a great idea.
good stuff right here
I haven't crafted a Beholder in a long time... looks like it's time to search for a cheap plastic skull!
There's a set of 6 linked in the description but you may be able to find them cheaper elsewhere :)
Very nice texture job!
Awesome man
love the new edits you are using very good job

Fantastic!
You would make a good makeup artist!
Beauty would be in the eye of the beholder in that case ;)
Your back!
I have returned! To wage war on boredom and lack of craft!
I'm thinking about doing this but instead make it Baraka from MK11. This technique could easily make a nasty Baraka. Q

Hahahah thanks! Yeah I actually have a box / chest I keep boss monsters in to reveal in game and get the "shock" factor
Really cool man i love it , left a like and share , my channel is back check it out for some tape glue and carboard creatures .
