The step-over for the second goal was child abuse. 🤣 EDIT: Just want to say - this is not to bag on the poor kid! If it was me defending I would STILL be looking for the ball. 🤣
For those wondering, the Canadia Football League plays on a field 110 yards long (excluding end zones). Midfield is at 55yards but not usually marked so that is why you see two 50's marked. Many/most? Universities and Highschools play on a similar field. Stupid I know... but it is what it is.
6:20 so selfish. I once played on an ODP team and my first game the whole team was super selfish and I was wide open in front of goal maybe 5 times in the first half just like this. And people want to try to shoot the ball with their back to the goal rather than pass it to me for the easy tap in. After the 5th time I walked off the field and never came back to play. That was the worst soccer I’ve ever experienced with a “team”. Honestly would’ve had atleast a hat trick with easy tap ins if my teammates weren’t as selfish as this trying to be the hero
that’s what happens when you’re new to a team, i never got passed the ball on new teams, you have to grow on to them. I only scored on one of my debuts.
TBF to the green team, they played better in the second half for the most part despite conceding two more. 3rd goal was no chance. 4th goal shoulda been dealt with better. Nobody came back to help. You gotta do that if you’re a wingback. I should know. That’s my position
My senior year of college soccer, we played an exhibition versus a U-17 national championship club team. We were division 2 and were a pretty middle of the road college team at that point. It felt like we were playing a bunch of small kids. The difference in speed and strength between us men and those boys was remarkable. I remember being surprised at how easily we were able to beat them to the ball, win 50/50’s and just outrun them on a long ball.
@@mkt1497 i mean hes not that bad, didn't see much of him except that short burst through 2 or 3 players that reminded me of vini, however that number 22 is a baller. fits in with actual adults. he looks like one tho.
Coach clearly doesn't know the rules. "Going for the ball" doesn't mean anything. It's still a foul under rule 12, as it is a reckless, dangerous challenge. The rule says ~nothing~ about whether or not you get the ball or are going for the ball.
Ok so if the Juveniles are semi pro (not that big of an age difference between these teams btw), Canadian soccer is in trouble. At best they are a premier club team or a below average academy team. Careful when you throw semi-pro label around because the expectation of level of play is much higher. The penalty kick was a nightmare. The Red team was quality and just conducted a training session for the Green team. The long range goal from Green was nice but not sure if it was intended. The title of this video is obviously what it is to make someone feel better about an average coached green team that was schooled by a better skilled, more physically mature, better coached, red team.
The guys in green were probably 16-18. The others were full on adults. The difference is massive, and it's pretty clear as well. Look at their size difference. The juvenile team haven't developed their muscles fully at all. They're twigs compared to the red team.
should have been a red for the high boot and dangerous play makes no contact with the ball, but let's be real this is a group of grown men complaining to the ref while playing teenagers
Young boys learning the ropes, especially at the back. No substitute for experience and strength. Red is a solid side.
They'll grow up to be just as solid!

oi legit same! :P
4:15 was just stupid and careless should’ve been a red honestly IMO. He had no chance of getting the ball that was seriously tensional

Barrie Keeper had some world class distribution. Hitting 60+ yard pings like nothing.

Love these videos
excellent 2nd and 3rd goal for the boys in red.

Two 50 yard lines?? what is this field
Today I learned that Canadian football fields have two 50 yard lines
5:18😂😂😂😂
Once the young guns warmed up, they were a problem.

27 Green looks like a player🔥
Terrible PK
plays like L.Messi only walks
that lad is never gonna pass the ball.
To be warming up the bench if that much

Red trips green from behind.
Coach: You're gonna call that BS?
How would you think that wasn't a foul?
Finesse shots OP
good old soccer get kicked in the chest comes up holding his face lol
Green 27, what a player
Green team gotta do more of their solo runs/touch n go
Remember when the U17 FC Dallas team thrashed the US Womens National Team?
9:50 and still ask why a yellow card?

no way they are 'semi pro' lol

16:47 is not a pen 🤦🏽🥴
8:39 penalty?
Nah, off the ball, unintentional, inconsequential. No pen
Tbh the forth goal was the keepers fault he should’ve gotten it
An outfield player wearing 1. Every youth soccer team in 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦 has one lmao.
5:04 You can foul. But pull the shirt and play innocent?? Hate those players.
in what world is that a PK at 16:45.. and the kid doesn't smash it into the back of the net lul
How the hell is the green team semi pro? 😂 They couldn't even control the ball or the game lol
Why is an outfield player wearing number 1 😂
There was way to many yellows in this game

Sloppy sloppy,,,
Zero build up guys hogging the ball.
tf was that pen tryna be sneaky, you losing 4-0 dummy
That number 22 is a scrub who should have stayed on the bench! Dived for pen as well #worthless . Would never make it to Swicky Academy
lmao why are u pressed
