      No it's red, but the camera must have been on some weird setting... MG is fine, I keep it for the longer journeys! About to do another 280 mile Cardiff run. XPower sounds like so much fun!

      This car had a replacement 115hp motor from a low mileage crash scraapped ZE50, software locked to the original 90hp. Somewhere around 97000 miles. The ZE40 has a motor bearing issue, for sure, but this one is sorted for the next 100,000 miles I hope!

    It would be best if you did a BMS update at the dealer. The SOH can be going far above 90% by that. Renault did make mistakes with BMS software, the latest BMS update will blow your mind. Check online, it is a known thing with the ZOE's.

    What's the model of the OBD dongle that you have? I've had two that won't communicate with the Zoe and am trying to find one that works

      @@alanmcguinnOBDlink LX or MX. I found the cheap ones very rarely work at all.

    Hi, loving your channel. And is the best for mg4 user info. I have a 2024 mg4 and bought a v2l plug as was one of the main reasons i got it. But it recognises it as a charger not discharger, NOt sure if its this plug only? Made contact wit dealer but they have been a bit useless. I live near you and wondered if there was any chance of visiting and plugging your in to see if it s a car fault?? I would be v grateful. Matthew

      Yes I do, but I am not using it as much since Covid. I did spend a few days on it a couple of weeks ago though.

    Thanks Burl, and how's your Mg4 doing, I have had mine 18 months now (same colour trophy) as yours. Fantastic drive, just lka let's it down. Idk if any new software updates, mine is on r46 atm.👌

      MG4 is fine, keeping the miles off it by only using it for longer journeys. I'm on r46 after first service in Dec 23. Yes LKA is a pain, apparently newest software will allow you to disable with a 2 step pull down and click.

      Thanks for replying, good to know that they are still listening to us, hopefully they will get it right one day... also add one pedal driving too🏁👌.

      @@r33gts My MG4 Nov 2023 has easy access to disable LKA but I find LKA is fine and also single pedal driving. My friend's MG X Power is a 2024 and has older software though. MG Dealers... ugh. Love my MG4 though. Also looking at a Zoe as a second car. Thanks Burl!

      @@PJWeyWhat software is yours, and I wonder if they will apply it to mk1 models anytime soon. 🤔

    Air con recharge is £180 to £200. It should not leak for 3 years. Batteries on Zoe cars normally charged at home but batteries degrade annually so you are wrong on that fact. Lithium batteries can fail suddenly so I hope the car was very cheap. It might be 15% now but 20% tomorrow.

      Car batteries degrade "fast" first and then very slowly. So you are wrong

    • @RBcymru
      @RBcymru 2 месяца назад

      @@ThePaviliongamer Nope they don't. Many ev drivers who do 10k a year are seeing 10 to 12% after 3 years so YOU are wrong LOL

    • @SweBeach2023

      @@ThePaviliongamerCells can also fail from one day to the next.
