I wonder why are you surprised to see this class. This is an ordinary school, not a high fi one. This kind of English is minimal in our country. 1st std student can talk 100% in English, Hindi and one regional language. I am myself fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Nepali, German, and Bengali languages.
Learning grammar is also an interesting thing!!!🥰
Ofcourse Indian education system is very unique. So India is growing faster.

Hey! here in Bangalore all nursery kids speak english. All our kids speak proper English and start writings within 2nd standard. From 3rd standard they themselves has to read question paper and write exams.
Nothing is impossible for Indians.
I am retired and 64 years old. In the past two years I learned around 1000 Urdu words.
Sad to say that Pakistan's education (Mutalia-e -Pakistan) is hanging on threads is run by maverick Moulanas and schizophrenic governments.
Though I am outside India for the past 30 years, I am reasonably good in the literature of my mother tongue and can understand five languages.
The intellectual abilities and confidence of Indians overwhelmingly enhanced from my generation to my Children's then another step increase in the next generation.

My grand son started talking English since 2 Yr 6m age like are you sleeping dadu sit down come on dadu let's go etc .now at 4 yrs he can express himself in English mostly.for higher studies one must know good English
