Yesterday this game bundle on the switch with all the expansions was cheaper than the base game separate. But there was maintenance on the eShop last night said I’d get it tomorrow… sales over! Guess I’ll have to wait. Thanks for the review!
I’m almost sold. The biggest problem I have with this game is its omission of simple STATS, like a solo win/loss record. Nothing to unlock. No achievements. Nothing to gain or work for. Once your done, there’s nothing to look at, no stats, no record to build up. Digital version of Ascension has lots of achievements, Shards of Infinity tracks win/loss records. This game omits that stuff! For a digital game, thats a HUGE omission imho. Devs should take note and add a patch or something to add this stuff, at least a basic wins/loss counter. Btw, I tried Talisman on Switch. Same thing; no stats. Deleted it. Slay the Spire has stats but that game is too rogue, too random for me. But I kept it cause I can at least view stats that summarize my failed efforts.
Thanks for the reply! And that's a very good point. I'm not really an achievement chaser but I can understand how they could bring additional replay value to a game. I'm going to do Talisman next and I'll make a note of that in the video.
Rolling Dice & Taking Names ha... Talisman... I’ve already deleted from my Switch. The game out me to sleep. That one needs more meters or stat indicators like you typically find in rpgs. I think it has 3-4 numbers. I could tell what was happening while playing. No fault tonthe digital game I suppose. Just not a game for me. Too random and quite boring for solo.

Oh no!!! Hopefully it will be on sale again soon!
On sale now!
Like the ending catch phrase. Should use this more often
YOU ARE AWESOME! ❤❤❤

I watched This video to check if the game was worth it. Because it is on sale. Totally worth it. Good game. Worth the sale price
Yes and I personally I prefer playing the digital version over the tabletop because sleeving and unsleeving cards is time consuming.
But what if we _want_ to take all of those cards out of the sleeves? So disappointed that this isn't an option in the digital version.... ;)
Now that would be an amazing thing to add to this app haha
instablaster.
Thanks for this advice. It sounds like a game that would give me huge frustration, given its mechanics.
its analog version is pretty simple and straightforward, not much to it, so where would this frustrate and what?

Is there not a hot-seat option for couch-coop play?
Yes, you can do pass and play locally.
Is this better than Talisman?
I like it better than Talisman. But I like deck building games and this has a nice twist of merging cards together.
Cross play and progress?
It's fully cross-platform compatible with Steam, iOS and Android
@@RollDiceTakeNames but do your progress and cards carry over from android to switch?
@@st4r444 I am not sure if that feature exists. I only have the Switch version.
