A trade to the nicks could be for Mikal or Cameron as they are both great players with good contracts who also fit the team and timeline. Obviously the Tade would need more if we were to get Cameron but I'd be fine with either as the main guy

We must get two real bigs next to AD. (ie 2020 chip), Valanciunas, Drumond, Dwight etc, we need a six man (Bobby Portes, Dramond, for additional support etc.) We need a two way guard to contend with Jamal Murry and Anthony Edwards..... Demar/Caruso/Donovan/Keli Ubrea/Marcus Smart/JaMonte Murray/ Brogden etc. We have more than enough assets and picks to make this happen. Doc Rivers, Ty Lue, Chauncy Billups, etc none of which had ever coached prior to there position with the exception of being one assistant amongst many. There are enough picks, contracts, mid level and minimum money to make it happen.
If Dm requests a trade on his expiring deal he can low key pick the team he wants to get traded to. If a team wants to trade for him and he tells them he is not signing an extension then he has all the leverage. Either let him walk for nothing or get some assets back 🤷🏽♂️
