For me I'm glad Samsung has this Auto blocker capability, I don't play games or anything like that on my 24 ultra just good to know I've got that extra protection. Thanks for this video
I have a feeling that epic is going to lose this lawsuit on samsung because, they won the lawsuit previously because it benefited the customer as well as epic games by not paying the royalty fees, however this time it is about privacy and the thing is auto blocker is a privacy feature but it's control is ultimately in the hands of the customer not samsung or google. Yes they can claim that it is turned on by default which is what the lawsuit is for, but still i think privacy will be given priority this time, I know most people won't care or are not as much tech savvy but I think samsung is correct this time. Rest only court will tell😂.
Agree. morover it is EPIC responsibility to teach people how to install their software how to disable the blocker and even teach user the risk of installing app from unknown resource and even how to make sure that their app is legit from them, such as comparing md5 hash etc. this time the battle is different compare to when epic against apple. in iOS, there is no such feature to sideload. but here in android it is just they put another barrier so people didn't mistakenly install app from anywhere, because android is another "windows" where malicious app can be installed if user is not aware what are they doing, most of the time when the "barrier" is lift people just click and continue pressing "yes" or other tipe of button that let the malicious software is installed.
Well, the auto blocker is a very useful and important feature to have on Samsung devices but sometimes it's quite annoying that some applications are region locked (like the Goodluck app and modules) only knowing to get this application on your phone is through a sideloading apk.. I think Samsung should make all apps available worldwide in the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store so we don't have to turn off the auto blocker for any other reason which could be harmful to our devices.
Great content. Epic shouldn't win. It's not like Samsung is preventing anyone from installing epic. There just giving you the choice. If you want to install it, just turn off the auto blocker. Simple. Case dismissed.
this time is not like google/samsung remove the ability to install from other source like in iOS. If epic want user to install their app from their web/somewhere else. they are the one that responsible to teach their user the risk of disabling auto blocker or enabling installing from unknown source, the way to make sure the app is legit, etc.
I am not sure of how effective is Auto Blocker. You don't even get handset IMEI number when you keep this on. Also there are lot of restrictions that defeats the purpose of Android's open environment. I would prefer IPhone then with restrictions. That is my take on this.
Epic game store may be safe, although I don't really know, but there are so many bad actors now in the tech world that I prefer having the auto blocker capability. It's up to me what is allowed on my phone.
It's childish. Competition is healthy and benefits the consumer. Samsung, Google, and Apple should concentrate on making a better product and not engage in monopolistic or infantile games.
Epic games has no claim since its up to the user to turn that feature on/off. alsomost people dont install apps outside of the appstore and anyone soing that already knows the risk that comes with it. I turn autoblocker on and off depending on what im doing. to me it seems like epic is high on something. also in the lawsuit, its up to epic to prove that what samsung did is wrong.
Well, you can't be too careful, can you? But still, installing apps from a 3rd party is a major feature on android they shouldn't just stop you from doing that. It's on your responsibility when you choose too.
there is "but", most of people out there sometimes lure by something that makes them click "yes" or other type of things that leads the malicious app to be installed.
I really don't care, tbh,i love Samsung security features, plus,Fortnite is propably the most garbage game, probably in history, imo,i am really surprised people still play that s**t

you're an ignorant person! because of people like you this companies do whatever they like and make the experience worse
I agree
It is up to us users. So, what is Epic crying about ?

I created a shortcut for quick access to autoblocker
Samsung should win this one.
Auto Blocker is a great security feature .
Android's biggest USP over iPhones is third party app support, we must not lose it.
You can open and close the blocken that makes Sinn

Yup thanks 😊
I'm looking forward to the one ui 7. Please cover the improvements and new functionalities as soon as it is revealed.
Surely will do
Samsung is very strict in privacy ❤🎉
I never see a company adding so much security & privacy

Wow, that's some useful info! Thanks for sharing! 👍😎👌
No problem 👍
I wish in the next update we could activate and deactivate every option separately

I'm still waiting for September security update s23 ultra

My phones auto blocker needs fingerprint recognition to be turned off. (as of the time of this comment I'm currently using a Zfold 6)
Yes it requires that
Would one Ui 7 beta be available in all countries or just specific countries that are mentioned?
Few countries like US, UK, India, Germany, South Korea
@ThePhoneFuel thanks to let me know 👌
Then we complain abt security.....wats wrong with us
Sir can you please make a video on how to blur the app screen in recent apps
I dotn see an option for that

I still play
Is it true that One UI 7 will be revealed tomorrow?
Cross fingers
Really?
Yes it seems
2:47 u can not turn off auto blocker without the password or fingerprint id ,u r giving false info bro
Let them show how well they can fight IOS. Android is soft on these things. Have to learn a thing or two from Apple too.
Samsung wins🏆 🎉,auto blocker is a good feature 👌
I think if your careful and don't click on links you don't need auto blocker on right?
Well, you can't be too careful, can you?
But still, installing apps from a 3rd party is a major feature on android they shouldn't just stop you from doing that.
It's on your responsibility when you choose too.
@@mooode841 Yeah if there's a 3rd party app I need to download I'll just disable auto blocker and enable again when I'm done.
there is "but", most of people out there sometimes lure by something that makes them click "yes" or other type of things that leads the malicious app to be installed.
Samsung should focus on phone and leave the rest to the customer they will loose customer
Android vs IOS
I really don't care, tbh,i love Samsung security features, plus,Fortnite is propably the most garbage game, probably in history, imo,i am really surprised people still play that s**t
I don't use fortnite anyway.
