Yeah a MacVLAN network set up isn't necessarily needed, but it does add an additional layer of separation from the host, which may be necessary in certain circumstances. I say if your set up works fine leave things as is. The simpler the set up the better.
Great tutorial but it somehow doesn't worked for me. When I changed the DNS-Upstream to other IPs and hit "Test upstream" it fails. It feels like AdGuard cannot connect to the internet but I don't know why. Can anyone help?
