truly cannot get over how GENIUS this is. This allows me to buy a passport holder that's TN size but doesn't have elastics. it's super pretty, but of course I didn't wanna ruin it by poking holes in it for the elastic, but with this I don't have to! seriously thank you I am in awe lol

I'm so happy this video helped you! 💕 If you're still working on it, I definitely recommend using something stiffer than felt! I've seen some people use clear plastic placemats that they cut down.

@@spellboundnotes the folio hasn't arrived yet, so that's definitely a good tip I'll take into account, thanks!

Hi friends! Thank you so much for clicking this video, and I hope you enjoyed my very first voiceover video! 🥰 Have you tried this little project out? Do let me know! I'd love to see your results!
(I apologize for the weird audio glitches. My editor doesn't seem to agree with my sound files, but I will work to make it better in the future.)

I love the idea of the felt! I used a stiff plastic sheet (like a cutting mat from the dollar tree- so not TOO stiff, but still stiff) when I did something similar to my de-ringed Filofax malden. It gave it structure, but I like the softness without it. I think the felt sheet is a great idea!

Mine was really thin and floppy. I hope it lasts! 😅 I considered using jelly paper but I couldn't find a size I wanted. I hope the felt sheet works out for you! 🤗

I did this before using hard paper like the cover of a Fabriano notebook. I made wedge indentations at top and bottom and used elastic to make the “strings”.

Thanks for the tip! I was thinking of adding something like cardboard to make it stiffer.

I haven't! But I've seen people use clear flexible placemats and they look great! I'm thinking of trying jelly sheets for my next one.

@@spellboundnotes thank you. I'll have to see if I can find a video using the clear placemats.
