Operating the Tecsun PL-330 Tuning 15000 to 16000 kHz Shortwave

How would you place the PL330 against the XHDATA D-808 in terms or reception in both MW and SW bands?

On Shortwave they perform the same on mediumwave D808 has a bigger internal ferrite that should help

The higher end DSP receivers usually don't mute during turning with the dial, they give you more of an analog feeling when tuning on the dial, but they usually go for a bit of money ($200-$300 range). Look for the PL-880, PL-990/x, H-501/x
Lower end DSP receivers are the ones that usually mute during turning, you're not likely to find a cheap DSP receiver that doesn't mute during turning.
