I guess everyone will have their preference. Just remember though that nobody outside of the netherlands would have heard of young emma if Barbara Pravi had not sat down one day at the piano and written this song. Songwriters are usually in the shadows while the players get all the plaudits.

Как по мне, нельзя сравнивать исполнение двух исполнительниц Барбары Прави и Еммы Кок. Два уникальных самородка. Каждая вложила в исполнение песни свою частичку души и чувств, которые ее переполняют. Разные сценические образы. Поэтому сравнивать в этом случае вообще неприменимо. Это не тот случай "спел-перепел".

Voila une chanteuse qui a du temperament qui nous change des platitudes de la variete standard. Pas de re-mixing mais une vraie voix au service d'un texte simple et brutal qui nous transporte..

J'aime beaucoup Barbara Pavi c'est une chanteuse très charismatique. Mais je dois avouer que l'interprétation d'Emma me touche nettement plus. Un grand bravo tout de même à cette chanteuse magnifique.
La petite Emma touche par son jeune âge plus que pas sa maturité musicale.

I am not french but I don't understand at all how the "warm" voice of a 15 y/o girl convey the pains of an adult to be recognized in this harsh world. I've heard both versions but the body language of this woman clearly resonates with the supposed lyrics of the song unlike the other girl

Никакой ангажированности нет и быть не может просто потому, что впервые увидел исполнение музыкального произведения ,, Voila,, автором песни Барбара Прави и юной Эмма Кок!
P.S. Попадание в образ невероятно взрослого, мировоззренческого по содержанию произведения для 15-летней исполнительницы-безусловная заслуга талантливой Эммы Кок!

I love both versions. They give me very different emotions. I love Barbara's passion and authenticity that immerses me into the song. I also love Emma's delicate voice, the lyrics seems to fit her life story and heighten the emotions. They both have utterly amazing voices and i could listen to them both all day... Bravo❤

Barbara Pravi's version is beautiful and intense because she is the author and she is an adult woman but Emma's version in Maastricht 2023, with the large orchestra and choir is wonderful and next level! Emma is exceptional, she enchants the audience and transmits emotion to everyone, she is young but she has already felt pain in life, she is small but she stands on stage like a giant! The enthusiasm and applause of the Maastricht orchestra and choir testifies to this. However, tastes are personal and they are all valid.
