      @@PilotAlexander the reason why the aircraft uses Mach number at certain flight levels is because of air density. As the altitude increases the density of the air decreases and that the pitot static system with the ADIRU cannot provide the pilots with the information on the EIS system. I’m on the A320 type rating and might differ from the A380, and that aircraft usually cruise at transonic speeds where the actual speed of the aircraft is flying below Mach 1 ( subsonic) but certain parts such as the air flow over the wings is supersonic which means that the aircraft is flying at at the speed of sound. It’s not flying below it nor is it flying above it but flying at the speed of sound. Note that higher altitudes the aircraft cruises at much higher speeds and if those speeds are at the ground level then there will be a lot of parasitic drag which is unnecessary so flying at higher altitudes means that from A to B is more efficient and that speeds are much faster thus the indicated airspeed is higher as well to a degree where the formation of a shock-wave occurs along the wing but it’s at around 15 to 25% of the distance of the upper camber of the wing

    Please make a video on explanation of Engine thrust that enable the flight to fly. Because to me, the engines looks like very small compared to the big aircraft but still it help to fly such big weight. Please make a video on it ?? Love from "West Bengal"
