Thank you for your reaction. This is a video that has so many little details that are uniquely South African. As a South African I feel seen. Tyla makes us proud for sure ❤
That scene with a blue scenery is her paying homage to AKA (his last song ft Nasty C - Lemonade). Although I don't think many will catch that, he's her inspiration in terms of creativity and doing something different and also being a great ambassador and representer of South Africa. Aka always represented South Africa 🇿🇦 in his music, whenever he performs he never leaves out his South African flag. And since he's now late Tyla is willing to pick up the torch and continue to be unapologetically South African. This music video is more real for someone of her success, other artists would choose the beautiful suburban life of Joburg, which is usually what's portrayed in most SA music videos as of late. The slum-like scenery, it's where the fun is, people enjoy life with or without money. From Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon it's a groove/party vibe.
Worried about her brushing off a fight .. in Joburg you can get mugged in the most public of places and people be "oh that just happened" and move with their live 🚶♂️
@@ekg891 Rih had a strong accent when she first came out, so does Tyla. Tyla mixes pop with African music, Rih came out with plenty of Caribbean pop songs…. Should I continue?
Tyla brushing off that fight is such a Joburg thing to do. Joburg people mind their business amidst the chaos 😭
