Thank you for the video. I have the exact same charger model. It makes a buzzing or whirring noise when charging a car battery. Is this normal and do you think it is safe to use?
You are welcome! The buzzing noise is most probably coming from the transformer and it is normal... If the charger works and charges the batteries i wouldn't worry..
I have an einhell bc-12 charger and the same problem with the current ... but! There is no circuit in the "charger" at all. So I wonder how I charged here and there for five years. Now it does not charge, and inside there is a transformer, an ammeter, a 35A bridge and a 100N starting capacitor. That is there is nothing to repair, probably a faulty transformer and therefore to scrap...
That is a very basic charger but it works.. if the bridge rectifier tests good then you are right the only suspect is the transformer BUT inside the very top layer of the transformer there should be a thermal fuse (at least the bc-10 has one) you could check. Otherwise yes it is scrap unfortunately…

Thank you. I think I may have a similar issue with my small Einhell charger as well.. Thyristor never turns on. I will check the transistors 👍

Inserted and connected: XH-M601 charging control board + Voltmeter DC4.5V~30V+ Inverter XL4016 Max. 9A. Set 11.0-14.8V and max. 5A. Great charger.👌
@@petermikula9912 Did you keep the original transformer?
yes
