Nice progress! For the rear fenders I thought of cutting the inner part first, then I'd add a slice between the outer wall and the inner structure. Then I'd do the wheel arch, maybe using the front arches. I've never done anything like this before, wish me luck. :)

I am kinda doing the same. But will use the new outer fender as that's where it needs to meet up with in the end. I will add material that overlaps the arch. Then cut it with a bit of overlap and slightly bent it into the fender. I hope to have progress on that soon and will show how I will do it. My focus is; not have a edge where moisture can be trapped and also I want to glue the fender to the made inner arch.

How did you remove the undercoating?

      I recommend watching this video:
      ruclips.net/video/P8f2Wo_zBxo/видео.html&ab_channel=HCR-MotorWorks
I mainly used the knotted wire wheels (both on angle grinder and pneumatic rotary tool)
It's a real messy job but I discovered so much more rusted spots under the coating.
My coating consisted of an outside layer (Bittium I believe) and a more cushion layer (sound deadening) and was really thick
