  • From the vaults of Library & Archives Canada, The Trail - Men Against the Snow (1937) was shot by B. J. (Bert) Bach in the Abitibi area, Quebec, where Grey Owl spent many winters trapping in the 1920s. Special thank you to David Sedlock for donating the film to this channel.     I love snow and deep snow is ok to a point. But if i was out in the middle of nowhere and going one hundred yards took an hour or so would scare the hell out of me . Survival skills would determine your fate for sure. With no modern technology or gear these guys are the definition of toughness. Nice film
