I'm a mechanic by trade and I loved GM product but now they are just junk so I bought a Tesla Model 3 and I love it.

That’s funny, someone clearly forgot to change the software for the Blazers… if it happened on a Bolt we would have heard about it years ago and it would have been fixed way before now.
I wanted to see if pressing the icon would send you to a gas station, or whether it would indeed send you to a charging station.
My EV reminds me to turn my engine off. It's 100% digital dashboard, it must be written in the software,knowing it's a EV
What brand / model is it ?
At 10,000 miles they’ll get a warning to take the vehicle in for an oil change. The funny part is that most Chevy dealers will try to perform the service 😂
After a day or two of not finding the oil filter, they will give up, and give you bill for 2 days labor !

If you go to a gas station, they may at least let you plug it in for a small fee, assuming you brought a cable.
For sure, get the cable. Most people will be doing the majority of charging at home.

Breaking news on something that happened a while ago. Shocked that an EV would have a software issue that is easily fixed. Much like the resurfacing fogging issue on Sam’s betrothed BYD’s 😂
Proves that somone neglected to rewrite the software. 😅

Thanks for bringing this up. I have a 2023 chevy bolt in Canada. From what ive seen its not in the bolt models. I think it's mostly the blazer. What I do know is that there is a gas version of the Blazer. Maybe what's happening is there's a mix-up in the manufacturing process and programming when it comes to these two different models between the Ev and the gas-powered Blazer. Hopefully, they will change that before it gets worse in the media.
A few days ago the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the 40-year old Chevron Deference Case. This new ruling returned regulatory authority to elected representatives of Congress. The various EV and green energy mandates are now also likely to be declared Unconstitutional as are 2nd Amendment restrictions on firearms. Regulations created by many other federal agencies may be canceled .
My MIL was dumb enough to buy a GM vehicle several years ago.
Defect in the factory software....
Would make the vehicle cut off just driving down the road.... Or apply the brakes automatically...
GM sent engineers to look at the car...... The dealership had it for months....... They would not replace it and they said there was nothing wrong with it
In the end there was a safety defect , codes had been cleared several times, but nothing had actually been fixed because they didn't know how........
Only when they were CAUGHT.... With the evidence of covering up the safety defect...... Did GM buy the car back....... And of course she got a different brand instead.
How are they caught? A tech at the dealership was actually a family friend..... And ratted on them..... And gave her lawyer all the information they pulled from the car and the car history. The safety defect code had been cleared without fixing even before the car had been sold, twice. When presented with this evidence GM caved and bought the car back immediately.
I promise you GM is still living in the 1970s..... Stay as far away as you can from anything GM. They're at the bottom of the tier of combustion engine manufacturers and they will never ever get Ev right

I had a Mercedes that randomly shut down, so you are not alone.
And now I have a Tesla that randomly slams on the brakes. Looks like I'm still living the dream ;-)
Yet, GM thinks they can do software better than Apple CarPlay. 🤣

Isn't it strange that if a neighbor switches on his stereo in his garden in the middle of night with a max of 85 decibel. The police would probably comeover to check on it if you report it it. But when that neighbour starts his v8 engine your report call will probably be laught at by the police
