That's a tearsqueezer man. Loved the video. U could see by the drivers oppinions that he was liked and respected in the paddock...He lost a great chance to be a champion, maybe even more than once but ...it's now past. Hopefully he will come back where he belongs...
I'll probably never forget the day Robert had his accident. He was such an inspiration for me and the story of his comeback now only makes him even more of an idol. He is a man who made it to the top, got thrown down hard, and now has managed to pick himself back up in hopes of making it back to the top. It's easy to tell he isn't in it for the money or the fame, he's in it to feed his passion and desire for speed. It's rare to see people this driven to achieve things, and if he indeed makes a comeback, who knows where he'll be in a few years. Who knows, we might have a Polish F1 champion in a few years.
Mark Webber is a Robert's friend to this day, he even wrote about him in his book. Also a few days ago there was an interview with Nick Heidfeld (even though I wouldn't consider him as Robert's friend) and he was sincerely looking forward to see him in F1 again and wishing him all the good luck. Support comes in many forms.
Grzegorz Kruk most of them are still supporting kubica for example alonso hamilton webber and rosberg have a lot of respect for robert and were trying to help him as much as they could by mentioning him in many intervievs and complementing his skills visiting him during his recovery and rosberg even became kubica's manager so i think they were real friends ;)
