Trim position indicator. The EIS Aux inputs are sometimes used to read trim position (and/or flaps position) and send it to the graphical EFIS display. This is commonly used with Ray Allen trim position sensors which change resistance with position (potentiometer). Wiring them results in a voltage related to the position that the EIS can convert into a number, and then the graphical EFIS display can scale the numbers onto a left/center/right or up/center/down line with pointer.

What a shame to have such wonderful information but with so much background noise that you can’t stand to try and listen to it. Please, please, try again!
Two GRT Horizon HX and EIS6000...12 yrs and still loving it.
The sound is very hard to follow.
Did I hear him say a trim indicator? I wonder how this would be implemented?

Hi
Do I need both EIS and EFIS work as one or can be used separately!Let me know please.
Stanislaw K they can be used separately you don't need the efis . There is a single wire that links the two if you wish to do so.
