Nice that you posted the video, but it would have been much better if you showed the step by step process from the beginning

Better ONE reference than none. I didn't see any other videos on "taillight lens removal on highlander", so I'm glad to have this one, since I cracked my 2007 Highlander taillight.

Dam, I thought I was going to see how to change the assembly. Now I still don't know how to change it becuuse you showed us AFTER YOU WERE FINISHED. . My panels start to come off then they feel like tey are going to break. Am I pulling them in the right direction? or am I about to break something? Now to look for another video that shows me how to remove the panels becuse this one was worthless.

Hi Doug, it is the same as the 2009, it is hard, I lost my 10ml socket in the process, for the top nut is not bad but for the bottom nut you don't have any room to get to it with your fingers only with the socket, but any way your info helped me a lot, thank you.

Don't talk about changing the tail lens, show us! Edit the video if you have to shorten the time.

+Jose Rostran ,I'm sorry, I wish I had an answer for you. Unfortunately, I don't know if they changed the design ( hope they did .... cause the 09 ver. stinks!!) If I find something I will send you a link.

Where did you order your taillight backed into a garbage can bout a 1 " hole in the turnsignal part and is it any different to replace on the left side of the car. Toyota really did a poor job on constructing the taillight removal for this car lol

held in with 10 mm bolts? I thought those were called nuts. How about showing panel removal also. waste of time making this.

Bolts, screws ... you get the picture.... sorry I didn't say NuTz. Panel removal is "held in by plastic retaining clips" that trail up the back side of the suv ( about 4-5 of them to be exact ) , you just need to pry the panel 3-4 inches away from the frame of the vehicle to gain access. Thanks for your feed back Norm, I'll make sure to be more descriptive in any future videos that I post.

Your welcome. because if the description is very vague, you know hook up the cables to the battery, doesn't matter which way as long as they are hooked up. the vehicle will be o.k. Kind of thing. ;-)

Thanks for the elaborate feed back there professor ! What is it that is junk? you have a better solution? I created this as just a reference... not really a "step by step how to".
