I'm heavily into 60's and an avid collector, but would squeeze this vinyl into the collection..!! What a track, and yes everybody want's a love affair. K.T.F
I'm with you on that one sir. I think we all have our favourite styles, mine is gritty, growling 60's, however it doesn't mean that we don't have taste... and this track is definitely tasty ✊️
Such a great tune this is, released in 1975 by Jesse James, he joins a list of greats like Sam Dees, Charles Johnson, Anthony White & Tony Troutman, who remained underground, unheard of by the masses & media
Brought this originally for the B side which is a massive favourite of mine. Also picked up Jessie's I Can Be Bad All By Myself LP at the weekend, tremendous album.
Awesome at Prestatyn...where to my shame it was the first time i had listened to Jesse. I am now a confirmed fan I just hope Prestatyn remains as a venue as iv seen so many soultastic acts there. Sweet and soulful your biscuits are i like a cup of tea with them as well as im northern lad. Thanks again for the post Dave from York formerly Burnley
my goodness, I was thinking of this song about a month ago. But I couldn't remember the artist. jesse james. His voice reminds me of a cross of little beaver and king Floyd's. Noce to hear it again. thanks.
