Some real world numbers. My car had a tune before and I gained 13whp by adding the JLT series 2 and adjusting the tune. Both runs were done back to back. It definitely does what is being promised.
i messed up as a new owner of a s197 and purchased the affordable non tune roush intake. It sounds nice and i felt the throttle response improve. The hp gain was all in my head since you can't tell it apart. Now that I look at it, I shouldn't have cheaped out and instead purchased a big intake with a tune :/
Airaid all the way. That's what I run on my '13 with 90 mm throttle valve and Boss 302 intake manifold all tuned by BAMA. Looks great, sounds great, excellent build quality and great performance!!
@Amir Boboy Pretty sure Airaid sells one for the '14 GT as well. If you can't do it, probably .5 hour labour at the garages rate/hr. Be sure to follow the manufacturers installation instructions.
those are not closed off systems and add heat while setting at lights or stuck n traffic and cause your IATs to go through the roof. I have a open system and hate it in Florida traffic..I'm looking for a closed system for the Cobra Jet intake..If you live where its warm don't buy any of these.
I'll be completely honest, this video was shot before we added the PMAS stuff to inventory for the S197. They do make a solid product but that's why they weren't included in this video. -Justin
Hey Justin, I've just got a 2014 5.0 and bought the AIRAID as my first performance intake, hopefully I did a good choice in the product. I did an account with you guys, I'm saving up for a full exhaust borla system and planning on getting headers too 😍 lol
AmericanMuscle.com hey, I've just got the AIRAID racing intake but somehow my car will not respond as is should. Maybe I'm doing wrong, or do I really need a tune. Please help, by the way, I follow your installation video but some how it won't work. Please Justin, help 😔
Mark Lowery thats funny because when i installed my c&l racer cold air intake with a 93 octane preloaded tune i gained almost 30rwhp so how do you figure? Without a tune it still would have added 5-10 so you dont know much on this topic

Based on your website the c&l intake mass air flow puts out the most.

Will the powerstack filter fit
C&L FTW
No dyno numbers stupid that way people could make a choice with power vs cost
No pmas???
Efrain_Soto34 AM doesn't sell it, so no...thats the reason why
Damian Lopez Yes they do? I just bought one about 3 weeks ago
Andres Banuelos Ohh ok, i havent shopped through AM in like 6 months

Pmas is the best performer on a coyote.
can i use them for v6 2012
YASSER Roxily no v8 Only
Your throttle body is too small
No tune required = no power gains lol , also why is there also a best cold air intake video without a pmas in it?
mtnsix right pmas is arguably the best tune required intake...
PMAS wasn't available on our site when this video was shot. -Justin
How about Steeda??
Do Airaid make a Cobra Jet cold air intake?
Stanley112803
No

Gilberto Rios if you got the racing araid intake you need a tune to run it. Hopefully you haven't messed your car up yet.
Jordan Brooks yeah, I did have to buy a tuner, guess what, I've solved my problem 😊 Feels like it got a little faster lol or it's just me...
No Steeda?
No dyno results
I got the c&l one
Nice! Hope you're happy with it! -Zach
Everyone in the know knows pmas has the largest diameter and best airflow.
Steeda
CAI alone do not give gains...Fight me

@@Djuane your bump in octane and timing is what gave you the boost.
So what’s the point? Bc I just got a gt and it’s fast but I wanna make it faster and I don’t know what to do
@@camarosaregay7943 get a solid 93 tune from lund. Me personally. Long tube headers 2018 intake throttle boddy and tune.
