Thank u for posting this. So awesome that young women are helping each other!!! Even young women without physical differences could use this kind of support with self-esteem, self-confidence and body-image issues that we all go through. So actually, these girls could very well inspire many girls and boys who don’t have physical differences (I love how they use this term instead of “disabilities”).
I wish all schools would screen this documentary and bring awareness and shame to the bullies. Rock on She-Lift girls & women!!! 💪🏽🤟🏼🥰♥️

Yesh sure, yet males with physical injuries are mocked and ignored by society these females get anything they want even with their defects

@@leonkennedy2909 Bullying or other mistreatment of others based on physical differences of any kind, including gender is wrong. Clearly, these girls are not given “anything they want”, as you say, in society at large, which is why this non-profit provides support for them. If you see a need in your community to support boys and/or girls, by all means, find an organization, volunteer for them or help start one! Be a part of the solution!

There was a little girl in my daughters kindergarten class who had an arm similar to Natalie's. She had a prosthetic arm that her Mom painted the finger nails. I know it was difficult for her to be with kids who all had 2 normal arms. After that year in school I didn't see her again . But after she adjusted to being in school, I think she did ok. Ava'a Dad is so sweet and caring, as is, of course her Mom. The obstacle course... I'm not crying, you're crying :) tfs 🥰❄☃☔🏜💗✝🔆

Even one armed girls get multiple matches on dating apps, a male with no defects gets ignored, is this fair? Maybe in your fascist world.

I'm so glad this is actually happening. I have different disabilities but in my youth there were no parents groups, no support. You figured it out on your own or you failed.
Big hugs to all these beautiful, brave women.

I'm 48. I like watching videos of differently abled people. I've been differently abled since I was 5. I'm partially paralyzed on the left side. I grew up learning different ways of doing things that work for me.

The young girl (with the darling NY accent) is such a doll. She looks like a little Kate Hudson.

I wonder why no one in that group opted for a bionic forearm and hand . I know its not an option for Ava but the technology to mimic finger and arm dexterity looks amazing and has come a long way !

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Someone else may think you’re pretty even if u don’t! The point is to focus on your strengths and personality traits you do have and improve on them. Like Natalie said, the people who are worth it will recognize that your positive traits are much more important than your physical traits.
