Yess this video makes me feel way more like a cancer rising.. i didn't relate because of all the articles that said we're closed off and shy. But that's the biggest part to me, is the privacy. I'm really outgoing but I am not at all an open book. I wouldn't want to be. And if I'm in an environment where I don't like peoples vibes then I cannot be there. Well, good luck! It’s worth it. And mind, psychology isn’t THAT complicated. More like: you got emotional needs. Like closeness. Or privacy. If those needs aren’t fulfilled, there’s a lack. You hide the lack as a child, try to be less needy or more clingy or whatever your parents approve most of, because you depend on them to live. Your job now is to recognise your actual needs and try to find out how to fulfill them. Anyway, from observation I found that a lot of Cancer Rising people become instantly defensive or even aggressive if there’s the slightest hint of criticism. I wonder if you find yourself in this. Like, I always try to word anything, well, diplomatically…I got my Sun and Venus in Cancer and Libra Rising… Im not actually nice or a pushover, but teamwork is essential to me. But be it my coworkers, my Ex or my roommate, the four Cancer Risings I know intimately mostly behave as if I attacked them emotionally when I only say sth like: „Maybe we should put the pots on the lower rack in the dishwasher- after all, we got way more cups and glasses than plates“. I usually react to very harsh criticism, as for constructive criticism that I receive is pretty much welcome.

capricorn sun/cancer rising. its a little weird for me because i have a 4 planet aqua stellium and have the rest of my chart in fire... i definitely am not cautious or reserved, i'm very spontaneous, a bit reckless (aries moon), and social. For a long time I thought I was a Gemini rising because if I had been born 15 mins earlier I would be. But I am extremely sensitive to the lunar phases and the signs they're in, super moody and can get crabby for no reason, and though i have no other water placements in my chart, people always see me as being very emotional and watery. i am proud to be a cancer rising. i love other cancer risings... always very cheerful, kind, comforting people to be around.
