A quick bit of trivia related to the "this end in" arrows on the dagger:
In the Poetic Edda there is a section called "Sigrdrífumál," in which a hero named Sigurd rescues a Valkyrie from a dragon and in return receives some general wisdom and some secrets to runic magic. The Valkyrie instructs Sigurd to carve some secret victory runes into his gear and to invoke the name of Tyr twice before battle in order to insure that he would always win. The victory runes themselves are not in the text, being secret and all. Instead the two runes that are carved into the blade are Tiwaz, the rune that represents Tyr, to act as a sort of stand-in for good luck.
As for the pronunciation, though this video is old and this may not be relevant, both Thors' and Thorfinn's names begin with a Thorn (Þ, þ) which makes a th noise. They're pronounced just like the god Thor that you're probably most familiar with.
