Same as fishing - on freshwater dams and rivers you may not use a hobo handline. Coastline and seashore is fine. And the UK's KNIFE LAWS don't bear talking about...
The bow thing is because if you say to an English man... bows are legal to hunt with... more people get shot with arrows and well, 77M people (roughly(that we know of)) on a small island. It's crowded here 😅 it's super easy to shoot ya neighbours here, by accident, of course. Not to mention its more difficult to get clean kills with a bow compared to a compact shot from a sling. More humain killing. There are probably some actual and factual reasons for it rather than my spouting of satire for a smile above. ✌️❤️🤘
I've been watching you for a year or so and I've always been fascinated with how accurate you are. I bought a cheap slingshot last year and it just isn't cutting it. I just ordered a gamekeeper and a blood stopper from your page. I'll be looking forward to knocking some of these pest squirrels around my house. Keep doing what you do!
Wow, this video really showcases the art of slingshot hunting at its finest! 🎯 The accuracy and skill required to hit those targets are truly impressive. It's not just a sport; it's a deep connection with nature and a test of one's precision. Thanks for sharing this thrilling and educational content. It's a great reminder of the importance of responsible hunting and conservation. Keep up the fantastic work!
11mm steel is the best. For over 15 years of slingshot hunitng experience, i know for a fact that the blunt force trauma is the factor here. If you want to hit a rabbit head consistently you need a good normal mouth bow anchor point. No butterfly style of shooting is included here. Ideal would be 10 mm lead but its much harder to get and more expensive. Over that weight you will get unnecessary trajectory loss. 11 mm steel is 5.5 grams and kills every time if hit in rabbit head. 8 mm steel, 2 grams does not, belive me i have tried. I also recommend 1745 tubes over bands for 11 mm steel. Because you get atleast 10-15 times more shots before they brake. Also you dont have to mess with cutting tapered bands all day long. And the speed is fairly the same compared to thera band gold. So my advice is 11 mm steel and 1745 tubes :)
This is something that i’ve asked before…. i heard that this guys dad might of been…. would be interesting to know…. i know plenty of other hunters who aren’t gamekeepers and plenty of gamekeepers who aren’t hunters 🙄

Awesome....some one who knows!!!, so I just got the PRO X slingshot....with the black mamba bands, ....nice but wear tear easily....so I just got some flat resistance workout bands....just would like to know will this be ok to sling 40-56 caliber steel balls with if so????.....and would these bands last longer??... thanks 😊
I just received my first slingshot today. Been shooting for decades but was still very surprised at how easy it was to dial in and get consistent shots at 15 to 20 yards. Really looking forward to mastering this before I take it to my permissions, will certainly be opening up new opportunities. Thanks for the content mate... What kind of distances do you stalk into for humane shots, your best practice recommendation once profecient?

Hi I've not been shooting very long, my prominent eye is my right and I'm right handed, so from everything I hear I should be holding the slingshot in my left hand but it doesn't feel right, so I hold it in my right hand, is this a no no and should I persevere with the left hand cheers ?

Hi John, I have one of your MDF OTT pocket poachers with the standard 30-20mm single theraband gold bands and I've been experimenting a lot with different ammo. I've currently settled on 10mm leads and yet it still just doesn't "feel" right if you get what I'm trying to say. Is it just me? Or is this ammo/band combo just not quite right? Just for reference I have taken the bands off and set them to the correct draw length for me rather than leaving them as they were when I received the catapult.
Hi John, I bought the ppmg + about 2 years ago after watching your videos, I can't get the bands to stay on every time I pull it back I pull them off, ?, I've watched your video on how to do it but it still keeps happening, please help

I grew up watch my older and uncles hunt with slingshots. Never took the time to learn. Definitely learning now.
Its weird that you're not allowed to hunt with bows when you are allowed to hunt with slingshots, doesn't make any sense does it?.

Make a lot of sense
@@scullyvisionofficial yea, the factual reason is civilians find guns scary, and the government likes a disarmed civilian, so it's a win-win😎
We cant hunt in ireland without firearms, make sense if that
Damn, you are accurate. Some are meant for this, I could never cross more than 5 birds/day. You are gifted.

Jeez that's long did you track it
When you see their legs twitching about after they have just been shot, do you think they're in pain? Or is that twitching just a spasm?
It's just twitching. If it's been hit in the head with a slingshot it's dead.
