Really appreciate this. If I try to listen to the soundtrack in full, suddenly it hits an 'action' track, my wristblades pop out, and I start smashing through walls. Very embarrassing.
I never asked for this.
Yeah, RIP...
@Foodperson My social enhancer really helps with my augtism
it could be worse, I was with some chick in a bar once and a acution track came on and I it caused my typhoon augmentation to go off by accident, vary embarrassing, I was picking up body parts and entrails off the floor for hours, and then hate to work 3 hours to pay for the damaged that was caused, never going back to the hive again, some weird creepy dude in a trench coat who worked for serif industries kept on talking to the bartender when I would try and order a drink, each time I could never get a word in
@@jamesdeegan7365
I guess I'm a strange one then.
An action track comes on unexpectedly and my optic camo kicks in automatically while I keep holding instead of tapping, causing me to kill instead of subdue ...
My mood is augmented
Amazing comment
@Arjun Chakraborty xD
@@reignprince4698 go get a room and RP on blog it by yourself
First i thought it said your mom is augmented
The main menu theme is absolutely beautiful.
Every time I entered the game I was listening to it whole before starting to actually play the game =D
And the little noise when you press start..literally my favourite music in the whole game, second is the Limb Clinic music. I honestly just roam around the clinic for ages just to hear the music.
The same with mgs4 to me. It's very difficult to just run the game and start playing. Firstly you need to go through main menu :D
Would listen to it for minutes before playing.
Epic. Thanks for getting rid of all those pesky 'fight' tracks. They break my cyberpunk-meditation.
how true...thanks A✘IS
Cyberpunk meditation. Love it.
What a hard choice that he made
I wanted today to hear it again, several years after not playing it anymore.
In the meantime I played Mankind Divided but to me it was missing that very perfect cyberpunk cocktail between ambient, music and story telling that made Human Revolution a nearly perfect game.
Such an extremely dark and claustrofobic environment, Jensen the loneliest person in the world, pain everywhere in the story path.
I have known no other video game like this one.
MD was perfection as far as gameplay but the story was missing. What's strange is the DLC System Rift felt like HR. Not sure if that was because of Pritchard and Adam and how they play off each other but I enjoyed it more than the main game.
@@thaneros cus story was only starting part of several Deus Ex games with one big storyline. but instead of continue their ambitions path SE just buried their head in the sand facing community backlash(which i dont understand, cus MD have more content than HR overall. even if main story is short). SE such a disgrace, i would never forgive them for that. same for majority of players which make MD look as bad game in the media overall
@@MrVoland44 i still hold hope will get a thrid game.
@@MrVoland44 I’m not an expert but didn’t the devs/publishers basically cause the community backlash themselves by cutting stuff out of the game and making it DLC? Most people say the story is worse or even a bit cringe, dunno about that but it arguably both these things rubbed everyone the wrong way. Remember, cutting content out of the middle of HR and selling it to you as DLC got everyone mad as well and it hurt the game overall. I think it just made people check out. Game companies are always sabotaging their own work, shame for the people working hard on the good parts and for the potential audience.
@@JustinWilliams-ed2ug I hope we do get another entry in the franchise. Remember though, game companies don’t think like actual people, they make many decisions that are recognised immediately by gamers as obvious mistakes, complete miscalculation of what people want and how far they can go to get extra money, maybe the avoidable failure of Cyberpunk will put them off the idea.
I heard that Square Enix has pretty given up on many western franchises as they keep failing to succeed, they’ve cut down their releases considerably, idk if that’s true, probably just studying their Wikipedia page, looking at games they publish, any trends there since Human Revolution and Mankind Divided, maybe it is true. I say this as Square was the publisher I think of the new Deus Dx games.
Also, if you want the best console version of Human Revolution currently available I think it’s still the Wii U version, it’s superior to the 360 and PS3 one. I think there’s a definitive edition or something that comes with any DLC (on the disc?).
I originally played it on PC, it will run great on any gaming PC from the last decade, I have FX8350 cpu and GTX 770, like an 8 year old higher mid range gaming PC, if that means anything to you. Systems with specs like that may struggle to play Mankind Divided on higher settings or even at all, idk, but I can easily max out the Human Revolution.
That's downright the sickest soundtrack in any video game I've ever played. Fully futuristic, ambient, yet absolutely classy and thought-provoking, whatever that means haha. But srsly, every time I'd be replaying this game year after year, the second the menu music would come up, it would send shivers through my spine. So innocent, yet so intimidating. Flawlessly perfect
good comment ,but u fd up
Exactly, I also wonder why DX series aren't more popular.
@user-db8iu1zp9t It's a slap in the face with reality and presently relevant themes, essentially a very condensed cyberpunk epic the likes of metal gear solid. Where MGS fills its story's implications with characters, Deus Ex allows us to become our own Jensen as the writers tell the story and lore through the world we are left to interpret and react to. It's as reaching as MGS but in some ways more mentally or emotionally taxing for some, because we're asked to make decisions, and for those of us who aren't metagamers, those decisions have real consequences.
Deus ex is so underated..
10:00 - Jensen's apartment - is just gorgeous.
I'm like a ninja but I will find the quest to seek and succ the infinite water bottle
You and me, we will rule this world
Take my hand and join me.... *son*
for me it got "game of thrones" vibe
I know people rip on this Deus ex when compared to the original, but f*ck all that noise this game shreds....just hearing the soundtrack makes me want to dive in for like the fourth time. The game is a modern masterpiece and really fully explores the what-ifs of human augmentation. It's sci-fi but it's intensely realistic in its treatments of the social ramifications of this technology.
gotta agree with you - human revolution strikes the most realistic/believable augmented future. one where augs live in the same circumstances as normal humans, not as machinegods in the original or second class citizens in mankind divided.
@@we-must-live I agree with your take on the original Deus Ex but Mankind Divided is totally believable. I think it's totally in keeping with humanity to engage in atrocity--especially after an event like Pangea. I don't think we're beyond that kind of depradation yet at all. There's plenty of racism left in this world.
This game is literally better than cyberbug
I remember avoiding this game when it came out, because i didn't like the 3rd person cover and i thought it's just another SF action game... oh how stupid i was.
Klaüs Smooth I got this game.. Best decision I ever made in video games.. It made me buy the entire duex ex series.
@Made in U.S.A How is mankind divided? I heard it was a disappointment. Is that true?
Yes, is disappointing, HR is much better.
It's a very good game, it just feels unfinished because it ends so suddenly(
Mohd Saif it's OK but the story is short
1:35:08 Damn...the feelings, the nostalgia...only those who played the original game will understand. I still remember playing the original back in 2001, one of the best games I played ever...top 3 all times.
Damn straight that was just well thought out and well timed!

The author is a fucking genius... taking that soundtrack to a new level
Game with the best ambient soundtrack
My most lovely part is Detroit soundtrack, especially this 13:10
1:33:35 Beware of the screech! OW!
Other than that, I absolutely love this ambient mix. Fantastic editing!
Is there a version without that? Then it would be perfect
goosebumps all the way. what a time to be alive, to be able to hear such great music. it inspires me so much. can't wait for Mankind Divided. I think mr. McCann did an awesome job of creating music not only fascinating, outstanding and beautiful, but also recognizable by Deus Ex fans. It's just so awesome how he mixed it all together, that's the way to make sequel to something.
thanks for the upload!
Hear hear!
This game and its sequel have such an awesome setting. I really hope they continue the series. There's really nothing else like it.
Technically speaking, these two games are Prequels to the older Deus Ex games. So if we are speaking in chronological order, Human Revolution is the first one
The music piece by 13:10 starts when you're near the Detroit Police Station. The music sounds almost exactly from Escape From New York. Fucking love this game.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about this soundtrack at one point or another. This game is a masterpiece.
every day?
@@says437 maybe not every single solitary day once a week perhaps. I do admit that it is a bit of an exaggeration on my part but it doesn't change the fact that this game is still a masterpiece.
The main menu is perfect.
One of the best soundtrack in the game history i love it so much!
I am addicted of OST musics. I found McCann's Deus Ex composition(s) a few years ago, and i am still under influence of these soundtracks. They are my favorite by far. Could listen hours without having too much. I thought human revolution ost cannot be overperformed, but mankind devided just did it! Thanks for the upload!
Walking to work through a city on lockdown...
i was never really a soundtrack guy with games until i played deus ex h.r. for ps3. holy crap i'm in love with the franchise. the game was flipping awesome and the soundtrack is awesome as well. good job with the video. i can't wait for mankind devided.
+Werner Buchhalter I totally agree. I didn't care much about soundtracks until I played Mirror's Edge, and that soundtrack is what sparked the whole ambient mix video thing for me to begin with lol
Mirror's Edge Catalyst and Deus Ex are the next two games I'm super hyped for.
And thanks for the feedback on the video! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
... and both of those games were nowhere near as good as their predecessors D:
I know this sounds stupid but when you do it you will understand why i tell you. Play Deus Ex 1, immerse urself into that, SO good.
The soundtrack is so fooking awesome! I love to hear it during my preparations for my exams and exercises and all that stuff. Thank you so much! Makes it much easier to concentrate. ^^
"I once thought I could save the world....now look at it."
Best soundtrack ever !
not quite THE best, but hell yeah, one of the best and legendary, like skyrim ost etc
skyrim has very nice ambient music, but oblivion's ost is overall better and more memorable.
mafia 2 can compare in my opinion
The main menu theme always makes me feel a certain way. This game is one of my favorites of all time
This score screwed my life up but I love everyone who made it possible. I grew up with you all
This is the best game soundtrack i ever experienced in a pc game and i have played hundreds ...
This is go to shower track. Detroit city and hacking are phenomenal. Thank you for posting this.
i feel so badass when i listen to this
I have been playing this stream for three days now. I may need an intervention.
Came here after listening the witcher 3 soundtrack, after watching the tv show, after having played the game ..... Now i want a deus ex tv show....
This three hour mix has acted as a 24 hour loop in my life.
It's not the end of the world
But you can see it from here
15:49 - Detroit city - I'm just gonna list this just for my own benefit haha.
Life is a snorkel
sometimes I just need Deus Ex content. I'm never disappointed
Thank you so much for making and uploading this, it helps me a lot with writing my book :)
What is the name of your book?
Gamer Killer_47 The Survival, it is a dystopian novel but the darkness in it is kind of romanticized.
How's the writing coming along?
Dan Pollard Takes patience! I have restarted it
Best soundtrack in any game ever, and is one of the best games ever!
This is a fantastic cut. I'd put this soundtrack up with the very best I've heard over the years - it was perfectly suited to the game!
Best Deus Ex ambient theme compilation on RUclips. Good job extracting the unreleased ones, and filtering out the combat music.
Time flies lol
Best Deus Ex mix ever.
I was studying until 1:0050 hit.....
Damn, didn't expect to hear that. Reminds me of the red light district in Mankind Divided.
Later my aug friends!
Symbiosis complete. "Jensen, we can't get out of it"
Here's the track list for you all ^_^ It's been a while since I did this mix but I believe the times should be accurate.

UNATCO? in HR?
Hey, you should add this to the video description. :)
how come the audio quality is even better than McCann own soundcloud post : soundcloud.com/michaelmccannmusic/sets/deus-ex-human-revolution-soundtrack
This is an absolute amazing game. A playable documentary of a very plausible future version of humanity, told through an amazing atmospheric setting. This is Blade Runner movie level quality. ❤❤❤
I never played Deus Ex but i love the soundtrack. I used many of the tracks in MGSV Phantom Pain, it fits nicely.
I like how you blended the songs together so there's a smooth transition. Makes it easier on the ears.
Better than ASMR.
Thank you for posting this, really helps when I'm working as background music
The final track is just beautiful
I definitely asked for this.
I miss this game
i like how it edited, it sounds like one whole song.
Love it. Gives a sense of inevitably. Of purpose. Like knowing you must do something terrible but essential. Something that will hurt people you know, but help countless more you may never meet. Feels like not only guiding the march of progress, but being the very boots it must don. Some will be unfortunate and thus trampled along the way, but the road to the future must be paved, nonetheless.
Your thoughts are like those who will exterminate mankind. Try thinking like you have a future. 😒
30:50 section begins with the sound of the Blade Runner. Incidentally perfect soundtrack
Can't keep awake with this, my kid can't either, double blessings.
Hands down all time favorite game soundtrack.amazing!!
I always listen this mix when I have to do hard homework xD Thank you so much
Brilliant job on this. I remember trying to string together a mix of all the music in Deus Ex (the first game) and it came out at around 4 and a half hours - so much music was produced for these games it's unreal. Have you thought about doing the other Deus Ex games too?
I love you for posting this. Literally.
Thank you, never asked for this
Wow, amazing transitions, THAT’S how it’s done 😎
Man the first song on here, the main menu music, was so enthralling when I first heard it. I sat and listened to the whole thing before I even started the game. I knew from that point on id love this game.
Aaaaah!! You forgot *"Penthouse"!* That track is so good, it has a godly kind of feel to it with the choir and everything!
Godlike OST
Really, the best game, the best sound. prophecy for 2019, more of aug is reallity now
This music is soooo fucking good. Makes me want to be on a rooftop in Detroit in the game and just watch the city.
One day, there should be a seamless ambient mix of all 4 Deux Ex games. That would be heavenly as they all have great music, even Invisible War imo.

The Main menu is so mesmerising, deus ex human revolution will always hold a place in my heart, they tried to capture the deus ex spirit in an innovative way, but if you played the first one, you will be disappointed by the change in story telling and gameplay. Human revolution was released around the time gaming hit its peak and started to turn from sugar to shit by the time the xbox one and ps4 had come out. mankind divided severely disappointed players, and was the nail in the coffin for the franchise, as it had been killed by the same greed that took over bethesda, EA, Ubisoft and so on.
wouldn't be the first time that the franchise was down, but NOT out...
the greatest game i have played
Wow esse é um dos melhores jogos para #Linux que temos.
O jogo é muito bom é multiplataforma para win, mac e #Linux.
Love your channel
Don't make me replay this again for like my 9th time
Perfect
the music from Human Revolution is better then from Mankind Divided.
Way better. It's maybe the best soundtrack to a video game i've ever heard, tbh.
They are both very good imo
@@timgo2345 I would argue the Human Revolution soundtrack is significantly better, but that is certainly not implying that Mankind Divided doesn't have a great soundtrack.
MD's soundtrack is better integrated into the gameplay, HR's is more consistent
Also let's not forget that MD was cut in half by Square Enix
The only thing good about MD was it's ost and gameplay and setting of areas.... The story was cut short
1:09:08 my favourite
Pretty often turn on deus soundtracks while coding
The atmosphere is very profound...
Best games series ever made, minus invisible war... Mankind Divided is great. Human Revolution though... I've played it over and over. It feels like a dream. It's perfect.
This is great music to code by. DX3's music is so amazing.
i just love the music in this game so much. fuckin' A man! michael mcann is a legend. i especially love icarus :D
Thank you so much! It makes me happy to get positive responses :D

I never asked for this
SkullFace "... but please, call me Bob."

I really asked for this :D
