I have a 52 with the inline 6. it has been in my in laws garage in south Texas for over 30 years. just recently got it running with a ton of new parts. It runs like a sewing machine. you have a beautiful truck. I am very happy with my survivor.!!
@@averyabood6155 I guess my wording was confusing. what I meant to say is it was the first year for the F100. Not to be confused with the F1. The flathead v8 was first available in 1932 Ford trucks. Communication error on my part I guess
Linda maquina 👋👋👋👋
Beautiful truck. 1953 was the last year of the flathead v8 in North America and the first year for the OHV 226 six cylinder.

I love the 52 pickup. I have big plans for a 52 if I could ever find one to bring home.
amazing one managed to go all those years so unused and well preserved. for a works truck its almost un heard of
Super!Looks great! shot mine high gloss black also unfortunately shows all the old battle wounds lol 😊
Beautiful beautiful truck!
Sounds great but I believe the 239 flathead was available in 53 for the first year of the f100
Sorry, but that is incorrect. '48-52 had the 239
@@averyabood6155 1953 also had the 239 flathead also. It was the last year for flathead v8
@@jimmotormedic yes, but it was not the first year in the F series

@@jimmotormedic maybe I read it wrong, I should go back and take a look.
Beautiful Truck
I was told that 1953 was the last year for the flat head not 1952
Canadá had Flathead thru 1954.
My father had a white F1. I don't remember if the gear lever was on the column or on the floor.
so cool.....
My grand father owns one that’s been in the family for 72 years and not in the best of condition
