Beautiful ocean of green and the waves in the wind! Having such an incredible crop be happy for the plugs this year. Even though you turn the machine off I still cringe when you stick your hand an arm in be careful no short cuts. ❤️🇺🇸🐐🐄
Loving your music again you are picking good choices and thanks for the scammer warning never hurts to be reminded sorry you're having so much trouble cutting that tall stuff
I absolutely love your videos. My fav parts are with your Goats. Love the goats. Your Music is on point. True great Canadian content. Hello from British Columbia.
you are the best! your video's are very informative in diversified ways & spotlights on Family! Mom & Dad are so awesome, your upcoming wedding, sister's cheese project...etc! thank you so much for ALL your extra effort, please do share photo's of your special day. Miss your brother, yet would undesrstand he may be committed to filling in after your wedding, fed up with the Utube extra work thingy or fell in love...? Thank you ALL xoxo
The rye looks gorgeous green, very verdant. You can tell that it will be a great crop for the cows. And, as for the spammer comments; yeah, I got one of those messages. I laughed at it because it was so bizzare. lol Look at it this way: your channel is growing and attracting all sorts of attention. Let's call it "growing pains." :) Cheers to you and your family!
Been thinking about you all. Here in the east we keep hearing about the heavy rains, flooding and tornadoes out there. Been hoping none of that affected your fall rye, so great to see you-are cutting it!
As always enjoy your videos! What a bumber crop ! Wonder why you leave your rye go to head I know you get more tonnage but the feed quality drops after it goes in head.
My gauge in town showed 22mm or about 7/8 inch of rain yesterday. Not great for haying but the Canola will like it. Hopefully this fall your Dad will be able to say that is the best Canola crop he has ever grown as well.
Guys around here use discbines and leave half the crop in the field if it's laying down. Slow down a little with a haybine and you can pull more of it in.
The video and pictures of the sea of Rye is incredible. I almost wanna listen to yacht rock music and pretend I’m sailing.. In your video, I swear I can smell the fresh cut rye, beautiful stuff
Nice touch at the end with the drone shots. Looks like Jan has some catching up to do with the chopper (and videos 🙂). How long do you usually leave the swaths before they can be picked up with the chopper?
G'day! That is one beautiful crop of rye! Maybe you said in a previous video, but what variety is that? We changed from a haybine to a discbine many years ago because the heavy crops kept blocking up the sickle bar. But, you're right about the cutting job between the two mowers. The discbine never made as clean a cut on lighter crops and grass crops as the haybine. Keep up the good work !👍
"Don't know what to do with yourself"? Remember you are getting married 😁 There must be something you can do. If nothing else go and talk to the goats 🙂
If you have problems with it plugging up that is a good sign it's time for a new sickal. The rule of thumb was new guards for 2 sickal. For the amount of hay you cut i would put a new sickal in every year and new guards every other year. But it not my time and money so that would be up to the boss
If it is as easy to go into a drought situation, we could be going into a wet cycle as well. It might be a benefit to having discbinde crimper. If there’s one thing we know in our culture, nothing stays the same and farmers are always looking to improve their operations
It’s seeded in the fall, with the hopes that it germinates and then gets snowed on going into the winter. This one is really beneficial for us because it gets a head start with the snow melt in the spring. Then we harvest, and seed the field with something else in the following growing season typically.
To make your life easier you might ask Brent to bend a hook on a length of metal rod and then weld a short piece of rod as a T handle on the other end. Then you can pull the material out from the auger at a distance.
WOW, loooks a great crop, in my notification on RUclips sometimes i get "message me on Telegram" under Dairy on the Prairie, which i find odd, but not to worry Neline i'm not on Telegram.
I realize clearing out clogs is a royal pain, but what a beautiful, bountiful crop!! ❤️
GOOD MORNING ALL 🙏
Good video on cutting the rye , thank you , working hard , team work , stay safe , enjoy !
Happy Cows this winter.
I hope you Enjoy your Honeymoon Coming Up!
I got those Scammers last week but I knew better!✌️
That Rey should fill the trucks in a short time
Nice camera work on this one . Good Job.
It will take a big bunker to hold the crop 😊
I don't like most music on most of the videos I watch but I love yours!!
Another day, another post. 😊 Gotta luv it!👍
Hey nice song you opened with. Best wishes
Looks different than SE North Carolina. We are in a drought.
I think we would love to see a video-a Q&A with your Parents about how they got into farming, etc.
Your family has a beautiful operation

Glad to see Dad not Crowding the head!
back in the day no combine could cut rye laying down towards the auger except .,., Claas .

6 foot + winter rye. extraordinary.
In Nc first cutting was good for horse hay. Second is thin no rain.

Good looking crop and great video. Thanks for giving me some escape time from reality.😀😀
Timing! Just watched you help Yan get his drone out of the tree. Thought I would be the first comment but one of the firsts will do! Great video!
Neline the joys of a bumper crop
Looks like it was pollen clogging your rads!

On a rain day (even a half day) take a short nap (less than a hour).

Actually first to like and comment....😊 Another great video.

Seen others having the same problems. Great crop!

Are you going to show chopping and bunk filling?
Like your videos on cutting but wish we could see the silaging too
I do try to show that during harvesting, it’s just been too hectic for me so far.
Where are you going to put all this feed?
doing a good job! Who's on the milking job ?
Does the wind bother you when your cutting it? Looks like it was really blowing! Take care.
"Don't know what to do with yourself"? Remember you are getting married 😁 There must be something you can do. If nothing else go and talk to the goats 🙂
Love your VIDEOS from (ONTARIO)
WD 40….that spelt Rust Check when I went to school.
Is the rye going to grow back and allow you to cut a 2nd cut?
If you have problems with it plugging up that is a good sign it's time for a new sickal.

😃🚜👍
That powder is what clogged your rad
I know you guys carry a lot of stock but between the alfalfa and Rye that has to be more than a seasons worth of feed doesn't it?
What is the best seed of wheat?
Answer=
👍👌❤️🇨🇦
Next one you buy make it a discbine.... you'll fly through that material and they're easy to work on. I'm surprised they still sell haybines....
Did you watch the video?

Gepruts van niks 😊
Is the fall rye a once a year crop or multiple times depending on rain?
It’s seeded in the fall, with the hopes that it germinates and then gets snowed on going into the winter. This one is really beneficial for us because it gets a head start with the snow melt in the spring. Then we harvest, and seed the field with something else in the following growing season typically.

Any chance your sister will soon start her own RUclips channel and call it cheesytube?
too bad you can't just reverse that stuff out of there.... 😒
I am a old man and not computer savvy so i can not respond to YOU except on email.
You guy's need a Discbinehead for your McDon go alot quicker and down hay would be easier to cut

Yup, those are scams!
