  • It's not often I get to compare 4 generations of game, but The Sims 1 vs Sims 2 vs Sims 3 vs Sims 4 is one I've found intriguing for a while, especially as it's technically on the same platform still. This video charts the Sims Evolution from it's conception with The Sims in 2000, through Sims 2 in 2004, Sims 3 in 2009 and finally, Sims 4 in 2014 and compares all the Sim games against graphics, features, quirks, gameplay, playability, expansion packs and lots in-between.
If you're looking for a Sims death compilation showing a comparison between deaths and the Grim Reapers in each game, then this may also be for you. On the other end of the scale, the comparison between pregnancy and birth is pretty interesting. I think I just find comparing any early game to more recent ones fascinating.
The difference between the expanse of the neighborhoods/worlds in each game is also quite striking.
There's a Create a Sim Comparison, as well as the evolution of the Sims themselves, a graphical evolution and a comparison of little things, like phone calls and other features that made the Sims, the Sims.
So, sit back and join me in this evolution of the Sims, from The Sims 1 to The Sims 4, or to be precise, from Sims to Sims 4, because as with most games, the first Sims was just called "The Sims".

@@Gugunet26 each sims installment has an aproximate 5 to 6 year run. Sims 1 went from 1999 to 2004, sims 2 from 2004 to 2008, and sims 3 from 2009 to 2014. So naturally players will believe sims 5 will come 5 or 6 years after sims 4 came out, which means sims 5 should've either been out by now or at least snippets of the game would've been seen by now, as they have been 3 times before. So the fact that sims 4 is still undone after 5 years and no plans for sims 5 feel like the slowness is ea's deliberate decision rather than a problem regarding budget and creativity.

sims 2 may have been limited had the greatest gameplay of all time. the way the sim's interactions are incredibly realistic and detailed and thats what makes it genuine. For instance, if a child sees their family members fighting, they would run into another room and cry and the parent would stop what their doing, get down on one knee to the child's level and console them. That is so deep. would sims 3 and 4 do that? Nope. I feel that the creators really outdone themselves with sims 2 and its definetly the most memorable.

I think 2 may have been rushed into production leaving out allot of things the 1st one had. If only Maxis had worked on it 2 could have been allot better. At this point EA Games is just milking this franchise for all it's worth after phasing out Maxis.

I remember when every new Sims installment was a very special occasion. The jump from Sims 1 to 2 was astonishing, suddenly there was so much more "me" to put into the game, so much more to explore. And then 3 was just mind blowing, I remember almost being able to smell the locations of the game, being able to go about everywhere, talk to anyone and create/customize anything was just so special. I don't know if I got old or something changed, 4 just didn't have anything for me.

I can totally relate. I often wonder sometimes if I am just getting old and that I just don't find The Sims as fun as 1-3, but then the more I thought about it the more I realize that there are just a LOT of things in TS4 that isn't there. And yes, I can definitely relate to each expansion pack being a special occasion. It really truly was. I would save up in anticipation for those EPs and SPs, because then I was still studying. As far as I remember, they were like $60 each for expansion packs and like $20 for stuff packs? But I have every single one of them, aside from TS1. But I wholeheartedly wanted each pack. Now I wait for packs to go on sale, and even when I do buy them on sale, I still feel that I am being ripped off. Even for an $8 stuff pack, it feels meh. I wouldn't mind paying a $60 or $80 expansion pack, not at all, I would pre-order it too. But a $40? $50 expansion pack that doesn't really expand my experience of the game, or after seeing everything in build/mode/cas, and screwing around for an hour or so and I still find my sim standing in a corner and thinking "now what?", I don't think it's worth even $10...

@@estelladee It isn't us. EA got greedy. I've been playing The Sims for 20 years. I love Sims 1, 2, and 3. I STILL play Sims 3. In fact, due to the lockdown, I've had lots of time on my hands recently, and I've been playing it for hours and having a blast. There is so much to do; so much to explore; so much to customize. I can spend hours decorating houses and choosing the exact colors and textures and patterns for every piece of furniture, floor, wallpaper, etc.
I was excited for Sims 4 when it was announced, and I spent nearly 80 dollars for the base game - which was far too expensive, in my opinion. Then, to add insult to injury, I couldn't believe how much was missing. It was so disappointing. So many things that should have been there weren't. All the customization that I loved in Sims 3 was gone. I felt completely ripped off. For nearly 80 bucks, I should've gotten a whole game - not the skeleton of one. I was completely bored in less than an hour, so I returned it and got my money back. I have spent hundreds, at least, on Sims games over the years. I have a complete game in the Sims 3 - why would I want to be nickle and dimed to death to buy Sims 4 "expansions" that are just selling me stuff that should have been included in the $80 game I'd already paid for?

It doesn’t even matter to me anymore to work my ass off to find my sims matching partners, the NPC have little to no skillsets, no backstories at all (they even ruined the Goth family!! I used to be obsessed with the mystery of Bella’s abduction, the graveyard, etc.. ) Anyways: the sims2’s astrology traits and memories/solid backstories for every townies was GREAT and Sims3 traits were GREAT too!! The characters had depth, and felt has real has my own sim household! I spent too much money on TS4 trying to recreate the fun i had on TS2&3 😭

Okay lets be honest... This is the order of best to worst with reasons
      1. Sims 3: the sims look good, the worlds are open and you can move around and see stuff, less cartoon like then the others and look more realistic! There are many more reasons but you get the point
      2. Sims 2: while sims look very odd the game is more realistic than everyone of the game but lacks in other areas, there are many more interactions and options to pick from, overall is similar to sims 3 and is a great game
      3. Sims 4: the only reason this is above sims 1 is the graphics tbh... Sims 4 sims are ugly and weird looking Yes you can make them look decent if you have custom content but it also lacks in many things yes I understand there's not many expansions but is missing many simple things sims 3 and sims 2 came with most importantly toddlers and open worlds! overall it's just a mega downgrade
      4. Sims 1 it's the first game of course it's not the greatest the graphics are quite terrible and there's not many interactions and options for your sims but I mean it's not unplayable!
      Does anyone agree?

Sims 3 still my favorite. The biggest problem with it is you have to have a powerful pc to play it without lag.
I've said this since TS4 came out: The Sims franchise needs competition. They're getting lazy. There needs to be a life simulation game that comes out and gives them that little kick to start doing things right again.

I'm currently playing TS4, but I still miss TS3 due to the open world. I remember starting off as a child who was often left to his own devices due to his parents always working. He would roam around town looking for fun and mischief, then outrun the cops wanting to arrest him for breaking curfew. The sims 4 has something of an open world, within a neighborhood, but it's not the same. If EA had figured out a way to reduce micro stutter, and game breaking crashes the open world caused with TS3 and used it in TS4, that would have been a smash hit.

Like the thing Colossial Order pulled off with Cities: Skylines after Maxis bombed with Sim City. Or like Frontier Development made a way better Roller Coaster Tycoon with Planet Coaster than Atari with the Actual succssor of the Roller Coaster Tycoon Franchise.

      Rebecca Marcott
You know EA Sports Games are directed at a group being at least as casual as the average Sims player? Basically every guy I know owning a Console has at least one installation of FIFA on it and plays it occasionally. Problem is FIFA being used in ESports nowadays which is creating immense amounts of public awareness. They can't afford for games like these stagnating.
The Sims however is uninteresting for ESports and considering the latest discussion I had about it with my Girlfriend some fans don't even care about the constant deterioration of the Sims. I'm one of the probably very few guys on this planet actually liking the Sims. But as a Core gamer I can't help but notice how the Series simply got more and more flawed throughout the years. One questionable business model after another: Add-on Release pattern - repetiveness of Add-ons for each single installment. Implementing Micro-Transactions - and binding gameplay elements to it. Force users to bind their physical copies of the game to Origin accounts - so they wouldn't be able to exchange Add-ons with their friends any longer. A noticable deterioration of quality going hand in hand with online accessibility: Bugs becoming worse and worse - and aren't attended. Some worlds in TS3 are unplayable due to lacks as Sims get stuck and your system's RAM gets trashed with Error Logs. An overall Minus in Base Game features can also be noticed upon the Translation from TS3 to TS4 - with the Theme Editor and the Open Neighborhood the two main selling points of TS3 got kicked out of the game for goodm etc. (Note: I could keep ranting on about this all day long without repeating myself)
As mentioned in my Previous comment: The only hope I have for this series is to be cloned by a smaller Studio working for a smaller Publisher not being hooked up to Corporate greed and shareholder value that badly. It worked on Sim City, it worked on Roller Coaster Tycoon, so it may work on the Sims too.

The Sims: Completely revolutionary for its time. Brought something truly unique to the table and was overall an amazing game.
The Sims 2: The best in the franchise. Most realistic gameplay in my opinion. Brought together everything fans of the original could have ever wanted in a sequel.
The Sims 3: Open world. Customization to the max. Both things seem great at first but enthusiasm is quickly shot down after you download a few expansion packs and the game becomes unplayable.
The Sims 4: Great for new fans of the franchise. Not so great for long time fans. Developers should have fixed the problems that came with the open world in The Sims 3, not gotten rid of it. CAS is better than ever before. Multitasking and emotions are nice but actual gameplay is lacking.

I hate to be one of "those" people, but EA tried so hard to be inclusive, that they killed the gameplay. Normally, I don't believe that right-wing garbage that companies are all virtue signaling...but...well....in the Sims 4 you can give women the option to pee while standing up.......COME ON. That's what they considered important? Sims has always been progressive, and that's totally okay. Sims was one of the first games to really give some thought to gay marriage and gay relationships and THAT'S TOTALLY FINE. But you mean to tell me that developer time was taken from stuff like swimming pools and toddlers at launch, burglars, vehicles, create-a-style, open world....just so someone could program the choice for players to allow women to stand up while peeing...fuck man. Ill just gladly stick to the Sims 3 and Sims 2. Sims 4 is such a disappointment.

@@colin3ds1 Yeah, I mean something like that doesn't take long when you open it up in SimPE or something, but I'm trying to make the point that EA prioritized the wrong things, and don't get me started on the fact that the Sims 4 was originally meant to be a multiplayer game and that idea was scrapped somewhere mid-way through development. So what resulted was a rushed instanced and underwhelming singleplayer title that was a step-backwards in terms of the series. I don't buy that "EA wanted to make the game accessible for everyone so that's why we have loading screens" excuse. The reality is simply that the game was going to be multiplayer and thus instanced for the sake of likely reducing latency and such. EAaxis could have easily made a singleplayer Sims 4 with optimized open world, but took the lazy route instead. Will Wright must be laughing his llamas off.

    • @SirFaceFone
      @SirFaceFone 4 года назад +20

The lack of features is not because of sensitivity or inclusivity. The Sims has always been ahead of its time when it came to inclusivity. The game was supposed to take on a radically different route (always-online) but was rushed mid-development after the SimCity backlash and it shows. It's why the game had no pools and no toddlers for years, and was very limiting overall. It's likely why it also doesn't have things the previous games had, like burglars.

@@SirFaceFone True and the fact that The Sims 4 was supposed to be a multiplayer game and that idea was scrapped mid-way through development. So instead of making an entirely new game, designed around singleplayer, EA just decided to go with the Frankenstein that they had. I hate when people think EA made the Sims 4 with loading screens "because its easier for people's computers". If EA wanted to make an optimized open-world Sims 4 that most people's computers could handle, they could. But instead, they chose to go with a rushed singleplayer game.

Omg the "burglar" sound at 6:46 used to scare me so bad when it would happen in the middle of the night while my sims were sleeping lol.
The sims 1 had one of the best soundtracks and will always stick with me, but all of the sims soundtracks give that nostalgic vibe.
I'm sad that some of the quirky stuff like burglars, social bunnies, emergency services, realistic babies, etc. were taken out. I love the Sims 2 because it had the most realistic and fullest-feeling gameplay out of the rest of the series. Does anyone remember being able to fiddle with the devil to try and save your sim if they died? (only for console ver. of sims 2, i think)
The open world concept and cars from the Sims 3 were awesome and I really miss that.
The sims 4 graphically and technically runs so much smoother, but I wish the franchise would've stuck with a lot of the stuff that we loved the previous games for. It genuinely makes me sad at times.

I feel like the Sims 4 creators are either incredibly lazy or they want to make you buy more expansion packs. 3 is a much better game when it comes to options and having an entire city to spend time in. Lots of shops, clubs, a beach to go to and swim in, etc. Lots of creative control and options. Sims 4, half of these things are gone and the other half are only available by expansion pack.
It's true there is different programming in Sims 4, but without adding every expansion pack there is, the creativity gets limited and makes it less fun than Sims 3.

My eldest sister plays Sims 4 on her PS4, and although she enjoys playing it she often complains about it's handling and how it's not as great as Sims 3. I have played Sims 4 on the PC and PS4 and although the only good thing I find about the game is the customisation varieties for Sims, once you start playing it's not that interesting and you can't do that much, so I think I'll just stick with Sims 3 and keep getting expansion packs 👍🏻

Sims 4 first playing it for me was incredibly dull and boring. And having like two packs would keep me interested. The thing is to have fun with sims 4 you need the extra DLC and mods. Which I wish was not the case.

I tried playing it 3 times now with all the packs that were available about a year ago. I could not for the life of me care about the sims I made. They just didn't feel unique or real, just like little figurines I was moving around or watching as they were doing their own, silly things. The best I managed was an hour of gameplay in a row (which took determination), but then the game crashed and I haven't played it since. I guess it just depends on what captures one's interest and what playstyle one has.

They released it slightly too early hardware wise, honestly. Give it 2-4 years longer before the base game comes out and you've got much faster CPUs, 64bit processing becoming more commonplace and the like which would help hugely with how much stuff it's keeping track of in an open world. afaik even loading a save in TS3 is single-threaded on a modern CPU, which is why it gets so bottlenecked. (Not HDD speeds...which are often the bottleneck in game. Those stutters you'll randomly get? It's almost certainly loading textures, sim data, etc for whatever reason and stalling if that takes longer than expected)
FWIW, TS3 actually works a lot nicer on Linux via Wine than TS4 though. :D

+Phantom Wolf *me too*. It frustrates me that one of the adverts for The Sims 4 is "Things are getting weird." No, no they're not. In the Sims 3 you could steal and do other illegal things. In The Sims 3 I had a neighborhood where Tom Waits rode a Unicorn as a primary form of transportation and his gay neighbors were a couple made of a suicidal mime and a serial killer clown robot. The Sims 4 did not only miss out on an open world, but it sanded everything down morally speaking and made it white bread. I know some people will be all "yeah but you can download murder and gore mods" *but I don't want that*. I want the open world and the weird back. They took the weird and said the game is still weird but it's not weird at all. The sims are more boring than ever, in fact, Llamas are hardly a side note.

Before I watch this I'll give you my impressions.
Sims 1 Most challenging,. most immersive, best soundtrack (most tedious gameplay)
Sims 2 Most polished, best animations. most charming (most annoying Sims)
Sims 3 Most innovative, best freedom and variety, (least intimate, shoddy animation work at times)
Sims 4 Haven't played it yet
TS1 kept me most engrossed because the whole concept was new.the process of learning how ro keep my Sims happy was a unique part of my simming experience I can never recapture.
TS2 gave me the warm fuzzies it felt intimate and cohesive with all the characters being part of the same story. All of my Sims knew each other, and could finally grow old together.
TS3 offered amazing freedom less tedium, more variety and smarter less repettitive predicatble and annoying Sims than the other two.
Although certainly not without it's flaws TS3 was my favorite but each one was a unique experience for different reasons
I haven't seen any unique selling points for TS4 yet. As far as innovation it seems like the laziest effort of the bunch.I'm still trying to figure out why I should get it at all,

Maybe then The Sims 5 will have that charm that made the Sims 1 and 2 such enormous triumphs.

@@RussianBlue15 I agree with a remake/remaster, sadly hardware moving on kills backwards compatibility little by little, and I have to test it to see if TS2 will still even run in Windows 10. I know for sure that Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 (about same time release) that also ran on XP and 7 runs but glitches and shuts down on 10.
Saying you can run it on an older machine, dual boot (when even possible, some newer hardware has no drivers for older OSses) or VMs is just adding inconveniences that shouldn't be part of the experience.
Also on a full 3D game like that where the entire intention is to be realistic instead of some specific artistic trait like cartooney graphics, a new graphical engine revamp cannot ever hurt it in my opinion.
I would definitely love if they re-released TS2 with a new graphical engine, higher resolution textures and models, and please at least a big chunk of the expansions it got.

  • @ChrissiTee
    @ChrissiTee 7 лет назад +286

TS2 will forever be the best.
Also, you mentioned that 4 takes a step back to 2 in a lot of factors, but didn't mention how it fails still fails to live up to 2. The amount of scaling back that's been done is ridiculous considering there aren't any major improvements aside from graphics.
We still can't build corner stairs, like you said - no more auto roofs, we can't have attics, if you have a foundation you can't build an out building without it also being on a foundation, the lack of coordination with the non-customisable objects, wallpapers and floors so you always end up picking the same few things no matter what, the lack of actual personality because every sim is on a constant emotion cycle and doesn't have any opportunity to be "unique", and how it just feels so blah.
You also didn't mention the increased monetisation enforced by EA. 2 had a completely free and completely customisable exchange where anyone can post anything they've created. It didn't even have to be based on an item in the game, you could create your own meshes, Maxis released free things constantly - it was amazing. Then 3 made it so you could "customise" but anything that was actually different cost money, whilst also churning out stuff packs. Then 4 made it even harder to share actual customised creations for free, while again churning out the same amount of stuff packs with less items and actual gameplay additions.
The Sims has gone down a terrible path and they have no competition. There isn't a single life simulation game in the market other than The Sims, it doesn't the CoD to it's Battlefield, so they can make it as terrible and expensive as they want and know people will still play it because it's their only option.
Sorry for the rant, I just loved The Sims 2 so much, and I feel like I've been let down for the last decade.

Technically Sims 3 was also a step backwards from 2 in personality (where 4 is trying to go back to complex personalities from 2 retaining mechanics of 3), they left sim with lifetime wish and 5 traits that didn't changes anything (many of them were just boosts to skill learning and almost none of them affected how sims were interacting with each other), (especially that older family members could improve personality of a child). Like there's unflirty trait. In Sims 3 it meant just that Sim with that trait had a chance to refuse romantic interactions started by other sims (even spouse, which is outraging - imagine that newlyweds where one wants to give "I just returned from work, it's nice to see you kiss" and other is freaking out at them for that (not to mention that trying to make child could end up in relationship end if streak was too long - which is strange if sim has family oriented trait along unflirty). And now how unflirty works in Sims 4 - sim with this trait will be refusing romantic actions untill becoming closer in friendship relation with other sim (also that's a great addition to series, splitting relationship bar to romantic and platonic) and also giving that sim big problems with trying to show interest in other person (all romantic interactions are made to end bad, only emotion change like flirty or confident were unlocking more effective means to show affection, yet still lowered). Also probably most offensive change from 2 that leaves sims to look bland is removal of interests, fears, chemistry and hobbies (but well, in 2 those were a disaster, they worked more like addiction instead of hobbies - considering they were highly affecting wants).
Overall I think that if Sims will ever become a good game that could surpass 2, they have to make a working combination of affecting traits, impactful lifetime wishes, personality points, emotions and personal interests (both in romantic way - like personality and looks, and in free time way - as hobbies and interests, like gaming, politics etc.), when using 4s engine or it's upgraded version (because charm of The Sims series is it's unrealistic graphics, showing sims emotions in usually quirky way and being a life simulator), but that probably will never be possible with allowing whole world to be open, maybe just some segments at best, the size of neighborhood parts from 4 (I really think they tried that, but there were problems so they had to scrap it).

    • @thesimslover82884
      @thesimslover82884 6 лет назад +1

Being married doesn't equal lovey dovey, in real life, some people aren't openly affectionate even with their spouses. They're is a way to allow unflirty Sims to do romantic socials with their spouse, give them the hopeless romantic trait. They don't conflict at all, so you'd be able to use both. I love all of The Sims, but TS2 wasn't perfect either. None of the games have everything, but TS3 was leaps and bounds better then TS2, in a lot of things. Not everything of course, but it has a lot of good things, open world, any ocean swimming, traits, and many other stuff. People down TS3 for lag, yet a lot of the reason it lagged was poor routing, and unfinished roads, or wacky roads which would get Sims stuck. EA could have paid attention to these issues, and lag would've been reduced by far. Thankfully there are mods to help with lag and other things when playing the game that monitors situations a player normally isn't aware of. The Sims 4 was a step back in same ways besides open world, in 1, 2, and 3 they had terrain tools, and editable neighborhoods, which The Sims 4 doesn't have. Toddlers, ghosts and pools weren't available, when The Sims 4 was first released, they where added later, after people complained.

the sims 2 and 3 is to easy, life isn't that easy.
never played the sims 4, but for me, for building houses (not actual playing), the sims 3 is better, and for career and etc, the sims 1 seems harder to me, didn't play a lot of the sims 2 cuz to much cartoon for me to enjoy, but overall i had the feeling it was easy as the sims 3.
idk, what you guys rank when you say "the sims X is better", better in what exactly?
interactions? graphics? creation? build? open map? performance? bugs? difficult? everyone should consider difficult when ranking the game, because the sims is overall too easy, the sims 3 for example, you levelup in your job by just let your sim go there.. it is awful in that aspect
the sims 3 was the last game of the series i played and make me really sad, in one day i'm maxed in 1 or 2 jobs, almost everything and 10 and with money/itens for every single one of my future grandchilds, its boring, but i ddnt really hate because i spent most of the time building houses with small mods, which would turn impossible to play because of bugs anyway, so i don't really complain about the gameplay, but the game being too easy is always a big cons

I was an avid fan of The Sims! The algorithm randomly brought me to your channel and you have a new sub :)
Sims 3 is my current favourite, but I certainly agree with your summary reasoning at the end of the video where you specify what each was best at.
I remember going to the Millennium Dome and we got a 3D body scan and then you could upload that photo data to a character model in the Sims! Was so incredible, I wish you could do something similar in the modern games.

One big minus to the Sims 2 imo, is that there's no independent life progression for the sims, that you're not playing as. This creates massive problem with created blank city, when you put few families in one place city, they interact with each other on one family, but when you are switching to another, there's no progression at all. Same season as you left this family (One family - winter, other in summer), no job or progression in it, and no reltionships. I also didn't noticed separate family naming, despite having all dlcs.

Agreed. I'm having this problem right now, lol. I was playing two of the premade families and their children grew up and had children etc. Now, their families are spread out across the neighbourhood, most with children but I don't want to have a sim be older than their grandpa's brother and all that, so I need to keep a notepad open while I play, showing which sims are in which age groups compared to other sims and switch in-between the households to keep them time-sync'ed :l I love Sims 2, but that aspect is a real hassle.

@@VelkanAngels we just need Sims 2, but with good graphics, sim creator and life progression. Imo, Sims 4 nailed that in two last aspects

From what I can see, all the Sims games improved upon the last, until 4, which followed the 2010's EA standard of taking everything out.

My favorite is Sims 2, it's really detailed experience you could play with 2004 graphics.
You should watch onlyabidoang's video about 100+ things that happens in Sims 2 that aren't appear in Sims 3 and 4.

2020, we've had wildfires that destroyed Australia, we've had a global pandemic hell we even got a new half life game in the span of 4 months, yet we're still waiting for sims 5, almost 6 years later

Sims 4 seemed really interesting, but as I learned more and more about it, the more it seemed like a major downgrade to Sims 3, especially in character creation. This baffles me why did they do this?

    • @Guywhosayswisestuff
      @Guywhosayswisestuff 8 лет назад +149

Because Sims 4 is the only Sims game to not glitch out like crazy or be riddled by bugs. While it is not as content filled as previous games, everything in Sims 4 works great and is actually polished. I personally prefer Sims 4 over all others mainly because of the fact that it actually works.

    • @Patralgan
      @Patralgan 8 лет назад +138

I understand and Sims 4 does have its qualities like you mentioned, but for me, character creation was majority of what made the game for me.
I wish Sims 5 would be at least as polished as S4 but has the content and customization of S3

In terms of character creation, I feel like the Sims 4 is far superior to 3. I don't mind the fact there's no Create A Style anymore since Sims look amazing in the Sims 4. You can create anybody of any colour, you can be far more creative and can manipulate the face and body a lot more than other games. Plus with added emotions, I feel like Sims are a lot more personal and easier to get attached to.

    • @Patralgan

***** sure, but I still need better control over color etc. It's stupid that S4 is a downgrade in these aspects

I like the multi tasking and little new details from 4, but I prefered 1-3 over 4. 4 is lacking different details that made the game more quirky, fun, engaging and alive. 2 was probably my favorite.

I’m ok with the wait so sims 3 would be my fav
    My favourites things are
    -open world
    -create a style
    -A lot of good packs
    -more realistic graphics
-other stuff (I’ve only played a little and I’ve played a lot of 4 but I still like a lot of 3 things better so a mix of the two would be amazing)
