Honestly (dont laugh plz) I'm using the mic from the camera itself! I lower the volume on the drums to about 90% so they aren't overpowering the music behind it. I want to invest in mics for my whole kit but I don't have a soundboard or the knowledge of how to record drums properly. I just try to make sure my drums are tuned right and try not to hit the cymbals too hard and it ends up sounding pretty good with just the camera mic at about 90% volume. Thanks for watching friend!
