the sad thing abt his performance in 2018 ambitions tour is he's still not in a good health condition, if u pay enough attention you could hear some 'crack' in his voice, even Taka himself said that he's not satisfied with his performance at that time, BUT Taka' voice is so amazing til' I can't even tell that he's still sick if he didn't tell about it in interview

Surprisingly this might be their worst live show that they've released, and Ambitions is their least popular album as well. Naigsaen 2016 is truly amazing, and if you check out "Take Me To The Top" you'll see why. The next best is Eye Of The Storm 2020. The amount of energy that Taka has is off the chart. The performance of "Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer" is a perfect example of an encore performance.
I totally disagree. This was their THE BEST live show I've seen from them. The long notes, the screams, I can't believe that Taka was sick because it was his peak performance (Cry Out, Take What You Want, Mighty Long Fall, Deeper Deeper, Skyfall, Nobody's Home, We Are - literally almost every song they played there is my favourite version). During Eye of the Storm 2020 his performance wasn't that good, during Clock Strikes long note he went off pitch a little bit, We Are wasn't that engaging etc. imo: Tokyo Dome 2018 > Ambitions 2017 = Luxury Disease 2023 > 35xxxv > EotS 2020
@@elann9983 During the Ambitions Japan Dome Tour you can hear that Taka is sick because he can usually control both of his clean and rasp that he can float between the two so well it seems that he's singing two different notes at the same time. But this time it sounds like he's having a hard time controlling his rasp the way he wants to. It's noticeable in some screams because the distortion in his voice is overpowered by the rasp. And because he doesn't have as much energy he's not running, jumping, and dancing like he usually does. You can even hear him running out of air during a couple songs. Taka's energy and interaction with the crowd at EotS is crazy. Jibun Rock is a perfect example, and watching him pull people up on stage during Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer was awesome. Plus his long screaming and circle pits did MLF of only second to Deeper Deeper at MLF tour 2014. And there's no way he was off on the long note for clock strikes. He was floating rasp on top of it, and even if he was, the fact that he held it for 30 seconds is crazy. Wasted Nights sums up how good he was that night. Naigsaen 2016 has the most insane crowd and has so many Incredible performances, like cry out and c.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h. Best versions are always a personal preference, but when it comes to Nobody's Home nothing compares to Yokohama arena 2012. it's the first time he sang it and his parents were at that concert. I've never seen such an emotional performance in my life.
I respect your opinion. Nice to see different point of view :D. But if comes to Clock Strikes you have to listen again. First 10 seconds of long note you can hear that Taka went off pitch a little and then came back on track. During Luxuary Disease it was super clean and maybe 1s shorter or the same length.
@@elann9983 I'll certainly go through and listen again. I wholeheartedly respect your view as well. It's really interesting to hear what live versions of a song someone prefers seeing that the usual discussion is how incredible they are. I'd be curious to see what you think about all of their other live shows. Nagisean 2016 has a truly incredible crowd. Their energy during MLF Tour is incredible since it was their first show in a stadium. Yokohama arena 2012/2013 are much heavier, though everyone needs to see Nobody's Home from 2012. With it being so incredibly personal for Taka and his dad being at that concert, you'll never see Taka that emotional, expect maybe choasmyth@field of wonder, or your tears are mine@LD . Field of Wonder is very emotional, and if you want their documentary you'll understand why. Day to Night acoustic session gives a new sound to their songs.
