I wish I could play through this storyline solo. Like with no human enemies. I’d do random missions all day against the ai enemies.
I agree with this. I end up missing half the quest dialogue in my struggle to not die. Which makes these summary videos are the better but I like your idea too.

Create a new epic games account, link it to an Xbox account and then log into it from your phone, you can play fortnite for free with cloud gaming, invite your normal account and queue for builds or zero build it doesn't matter, when you're in the pre game lobby make the level 1 account leave the match so it doesn't gain any XP, that way you can repeat the process to play matches with bots only and 0 real players.

you are describing bot lobbies. it is what I do when my two year old wants to play with me, meaning he wants to honk the horn on the cars haha
if anyone remembers from the primal season the battle pass skins "obtained" this chrome style called Chromium. the chrome substance was able to exploit the characters strengths and weaknesses as shown with Raz. And now all the sudden this chrome substance is returning to this reality.
For a season that was expected to be quite a vibe it has made a pretty crazy impact on the story. Things are still not exactly as calm as we thought they would be
Guessing the term they used for this season, “Vibing”. Was just them being sarcastic, cause we are indeed not vibing, and are quite screwed.

@@pooga6387 Not really, technically most of this season has just been peace and parties. It's only now that anything even slightly concerning is happening because of the build-up to season 4.
For the Paradigms disappearance tape after it finished I was like:

Kind of funny that the last lore dialogue we get before season 4 starts is... *"Vendetta Buddies?"*
We still don't really know what the lore situation is going to be leading to Season 4, nothing in game is exactly teasing season 4, just that off-handed remark about the Scientist researching the strange substance that's around the Island and the Seven Members disappearing.
Guess they're keeping it a surprise/ leaving it to the teasers posted on their social media accounts.

I'm genuinely terrified of the next threat, because it knew how to take out the rock/foundation, who is canonically the STRONGEST PERSON IN ALL OF REALITY. Not only that, it did it in a smart way, too. they came for him first, so that he was unsuspecting of an attack and couldn't prepare for one.
It's not like the chrome was a person. It could be controlled by a person but it is only a liquid substance that probably just consumed him as soon as he touched it. Like in the commercial teaser with the girl putting some cream on her hands and her hands got consumed by the chrome.
Geno might technically be stronger since, well, if the Foun-Dwayne-Tion was so strong, why hasn't he already beaten the IO/ Geno already?
@@TheEpicGalaxy21 Well back in chapter 2 season 6 when the foundation first appeared he asked jones where was geno and the sisters. Meaning he had no way of getting close to geno.
@@A.Peacock Fair enough, though, Geno IS currently the one with direct access/ control over the Zero Point. (Well maybe not this season, but he's had it for the majority of thousands of years, if you didn't give yourself lasting ultra-powers in that time, then that's a HUUUGE missed opportunity...)

Since previously we got Sarah Connor & the Terminator I hope the chrome season brings us the T1000 as a badass chrome'd map boss to replace vadar. I'm almost certain it won't happen but it would be amazing

My favourite moment was a time when I was fighting Darth Vader with a car and I got yeeted to a new dimension (not literally tho I just went to the sky barrier)
Stopped playing Fortnite in Season 2, but I still love watching Adam’s story videos to support him and keep up to date on the storyline ❤️

From what it looks like, we’ll have two enemies during Season 4; The Reality Tree, and the Chrome Infection.
Those voice recordings from the scientist gave me chills because it reminded me of the visitor’s voice recordings in season 10 and I remember how in that season i was crazy in love with the story, the recordings gave me chills back then And hearing these new ones makes me feel the same as before. Because last time important recordings from the seven (visitor) happened, the map got destroyed by a meteor
in season 10 the voice recordings were also from the scientist. the visitor has never spoken

Yeah I think its because they had to cancel a lot of the content they planned like skateboards and such.
@@hawkeyetrickshot3164 I don't think it was cancelled, just not finished. I mean, the leaks that first showed off skateboarding said "Epic is *working* on Skateboards". Though that still makes me wonder why they added that floating skate park if it wasn't planned to come during the Summer Event/ in this season. Maybe it was supposed to act as a teaser for skateboards like the Mech Arm was teasing the Mech's return.
I pray we get another matrix collab next season, with all this chrome stuff, Neo, Trinity, and Morpheus as skins would be amazing and they’d definitely be great fighters for whatever’s coming, also if the season is 80s/90s themed like everyone is speculating then matrix would fit in since the first movie came out in 99

When I saw the chrome liquid in the commercials the first thing I thought of was the Matrix. Cant believe "we're vibin our way to paradise" has such an ominous ring to it.
Thank you for this, the story challenges glitched out so I wasn't able to get past part 5.
This video is best part about every season’s storyline!
The storyline might be the lamest one we've gotten in a while but it does fit with the whole relax vibe, this season was alright in the end but it was honestly too long for it's own good, it would've been so much better if it wrapped up mid august instead. Also No Sweat was one of the worst holiday events they've done, made me hate the season for 2 weeks
I think that a relax season fits when the IO storyline is being closed (at the moment) and while we open a new story, although it would have been better if the whole story about the reality tree was more explicit and maybe more of that outside of the challenges
There wasn't meant to be lore, it was a break season so epic could focus on the new story directions it seems to be taking for future seasons. Hence why it was a chill "vibin" season.
Edit: The season was also longer than normal because of epic's summer break. The same thing will happen with season 5 for their winter break.
@@ricardoberrios6137 yes, I wish they would've at least expanded more on investigating the tree, if I'm not mistaken we only had 1 set of challenges that focused on the tree, everything else was about relics and the seven being missing. The tree stuff got glossed over so fast

@@heyitsgiio imagine a concert in wich everything goes well, but at the very very end something goes wrong, maybe the reality tree goes nuts or the weird substance appears out of nowhere, that would have been a great way of adding the storyline in gameplay

Last time I saw metal mind control goo was in the sonic idw comics you can look it up
this chrome stuff reminds me a lot of the metal virus from the Sonic the hedgehog IDW comics, in that it spreads through touch, although in the comic it only spread on organic beings, while this chrome stuff appears to be able to spread to anything.

we still have jones and maybe he could help us in the last week and we find them and thats how we kickstart season 4 of and then when the went missing we take jones with us and maybe its dr slone who is taking them or maybe geno because he could have powers and we just dont know because we havent met him yet and its him thats taking all them. also his suit looks like it came from somewhere else so maybe he got powers from there and he is the one taking them and the place that he got the powers from is called paradise or he made a deal with the girl we saw in the trailer for season 3 and she made him a superhuman. please like this so playstationgrenade can see this because it took a long time to write

Few questions on my mind:
1. I thought Foundation was off chasing Geno with Jonesy, so how was he on the island in the first place?
2. The Visitor went missing and we found his helmet, so how was he underground with the Scientist?
3. When I finished the quest that told us the Paradigm went missing, my Vibin quest tab says I'm on 3/4 quests towards the xp reward, but I don't see anymore quests? Is there another one coming?

Yea. A big war happened last season idk why they expected epic to cram more information into our heads. Season 2 was full of exciting things (For me at least). Having this season as a cooldown or break was the most satisfying thing ever.
The final marvel comic makes me want to completely disregard everything, It really feels like they're pulling the story out of nowhere

Ya know, Sonic the Hedgehog's reality has a similar chrome look in the future after a big disaster, so we might get that crossover with Sonic and Silver.
Shared reality? Chrome footprints? There was an ep from dr who about cyber men from an alternate universe coming into ours could it be linked?
Also the shockwaves making people disappear sounds like something from the third season of umbrella academy just a thought

Remember when this story was just a few Loading screens in C1S3? and even the big players like the visitor were implied to just be paid actors on a movie set? and look at us now. we have All of the 7 on just dissappearing and appearing while The literal Center of existanse is crying for help.

Do all these events happen in one normal game in Fortnite before the storm closes or what? Because the storm erases the memory of people, so if the events happen in days, this means that the effect of the storm does not affect the characters
( i mean by one normal game in fn is like "Bloodborne" the events of this game happens in one night of the story)
