Thanks for posting this video. Tghis is a great and simple fix for a nagging problem. It did work on one guage but...I have this problem with another guage and this solution did not work. Is there another work around or should I just buy a new guage?
I have a carpet extractor machine with a gauge installed, my gauge is off and I burped it but it did not reset do you have anymore suggestions. Thanks in advance
Leave it alone. They're supposed to be like that so the fluid has room to expand when it gets hot. If it's filled to the top the fluid has nowhere to go so the gauge will start to leak.
Can you help? My 0-30 gauge is same as in your video. needle is sitting at 20, because outdoor temps dropped below freezing. So, it's not a question of burping it. Any other way to get that needle back down to zero? Thanks!
Well why don't you explain what the hell that sticker means it says to cut the top which if pressure is built up it could explode the glass so why did they stick a sticker saying to cut that nipple on the?

One of my gauges connected to the fpr blew a hole in the bottom out the weep gasket. What could have caused that?
This didn’t work for me, is there anyway to take it apart and use the adjustment screws? I think the unit may been exposed to overpressure
If the gauge doesn’t have the plug can you drill a hole into it ?

The guage I got was like yours in the video, 3/4 full of glycerine. Should I fill it to the top or is that how it should be?
